If you've grown oh so tired of Jingle Bells and White Christmas, this is the album to buy. It's a wonderful, heartfelt compilation of mostly non-traditional holiday songs. Vonda's voice is great and there are a few surprises. A little jazzy, a little folksy and a touch of the blues. Great price for this little gem, too. (If you enjoy Robert Downey Jr's "River," you might want to purchase his own CD, "The Futurist," it's wonderful.)Free Music Review: Best Holiday CD of 2000

After hearing the cast of Ally McBeal sing these songs on the Christmas episode, I decided I HAD to buy the CD. Turned out to be the smartest holiday purchase I made! All of the songs were terrific, but I kept returning to the Robert Downey ("River")pieces (White Christmas duo with Vonda). Downey has the most amazing voice and I, too, wish he would cut his own CD. Anyway, GREAT CD and I recommend that everyone buy it.Free Music Review: Downey's River is amazing

After watching the episode with Robert Downey Jr's version of River, I set out to purchase this Christmas CD. The song gives me chills each time I listen to it, it is especially poignant given the sad events of the past few weeks. This talented actor, is also a gifted singer. I highly recommend this cd, not just for his contributions but overall the entire CD is an excellent modern day Christmas album.Free Music Review: Christmas Music

I love this Christmas CD. Pandora played Vonda Shepard's version of "Man With The Bag" so, I ordered the CD. While not a regular viewer of Ally McBeal the few times I did watch the best part was when they were in the bar and Vonda was on stage. And Jane K can really sing ... some cuts with other cast members singing are only so so but, all in all a great addition to my Xmas music collection.Free Music Review: Worth It Just for Downey's River Song

Definitely a top Xmas CD! I have listened to this one over and over and I never tire of it. I am a fan of Vonda Shepard, but this one is a nice mix of artists. Downey's singing definitely makes this CD. River is a crusty,moody, complex song just like the man. Well, maybe he's not crusty, but he sure can sing!! Wish he would tackle an album on his own. Anyway, buy it, you won't regret it.
