Free Music Notes for Shrek - Music From the Original Motion Picture

Free Music Review: Great SoundTrack - Great Movie
Hit: 5 Stars

Great song compilation - good for driving or energetic work.
It is a real dance/sing along CD!

Free Music Review: my favorite feel good album
Hit: 5 Stars

This is a most beautifuly arranged album, taking you from the mellow love songs of Dana Glover and Jason Wade, to hyperactive heights of originaly the monkee's, and now smashmouth's "i'm a believer", and the proclaimers "I'm on my way", with a gorgeous mix of both light hearted molodies and deeep heartfelt lyrics.

This soundtrack, like the film, will make you laugh, cry, and laugh again. For me it captures the soul of Shrek, lighthearted and full of hilariously comedic moments, but interwined with a classical love story including the everpresent misunderstanding between lovers, which is all made right in the end! This album always has the ability to pull my spirits up and blast them up and away with the fairies!

Free Music Review: You'll Never Believe Who Wrote "I'm A Believer"
Hit: 4 Stars

"I'm A Believer" was a big hit for the Monkees, but let's give credit where credit is due: the young writer of that song was none other than Neil Diamnond.

Free Music Review: Hallelujah
Hit: 3 Stars

Hallelujah was originally by Leonard Cohen, and beautifully remade about 10 years ago by Jeff Buckley.

Free Music Review: Just to clear things up
Hit: 4 Stars

Ok this is driving me nuts, and you don't have to be 50 years old to know this (I'm 24) but I'm A Believer is NOT a Smashmouth song, it was done a couple decades ago by a little band called the Monkees, and if you hear that version you will laugh for not liking the Smashmouth version.
And I have a question just to show I am not the know it all of original artists--who did the original version of Hallelujah?
