Free Music Notes for Shrek - Music From the Original Motion PictureFree Music Review: The soundtrack is as fun as the movie Hit: 5 StarsOnce you've seen the movie you know what an amayzing and original mix of fun, fantasy, and intelligence are involved in the makings of shrek. The soundtrack is equally playful and entertaining. With an upbeat, pop feel, you are carried through the exciting journey of the movie through the emphatic songs that compose the feeling and mood experienced in the movie. Its about as fun and enjoyable as any soundtrack out there, sure to please the kids and abults alike. Purely, whole-hearted fun for everyone.
Free Music Review: Buying it for the 2nd time...Wonderful!!! Hit: 5 StarsI love music of all kinds from classical and foriegn to head banging death metal. The Shrek Soundtrack is wonderful. The beloved monster song has got to be my favorite. So simple a message. We listened to this Cd so many times over the months that my 10 year old ended up scratching it and i miss it so much i'm replacing it with another.
Free Music Review: Shrek Wreck!!! Hit: 1 StarsThis c.d. is so boring! Don't buy it. Most of the songs are long and slow. It's just not worth it. I listened through the whole thing, hoping to a couple of good songs, but the only good one was the Eddie Murphy version of I'm A Believer, which wasn't even that great and was the last track on the disc. Trust me.
Free Music Review: One of my favorite CD's Hit: 5 StarsI've had this CD in the changer in my car for over a year now. I've switched out several other CDs over time, but this one keeps it's place. One of the main reasons I'm looking forward to the sequel movie is with the hopes that they produce another CD like this one! (of course I'm looking forward to the movie itself as well!)I don't understand the complaints of some other reviewers saying that this CD doesn't reflect the songs actually in the movie. Every song on this CD was in the movie (sometimes very briefly), the only possible exception is "Hallelujah" which appears in both the movie and the CD, but by different artists... I can only assume that there was some sort of contract problem that they encountered with the CD, and instead of just leaving it out all-together, they were able to sign a deal with another artist. There -is- another soundtrack available which has the "orchestral" music from the movie (of which only one track appears on "this" CD). So if you want the orchestral music, check out the other CD (but get this one as well!)
Free Music Review: Great Soundtrack For A Great Movie Hit: 5 StarsThis Was A Very Good CD. Shrek Was A Very Funny Movie. and It's Soundtrack Is Great. I'm A Believer/Eddie Murphy 5/5: Taken right off the movie itslef, Donkey's Version of I'm A Believer kicks butt! True Loves First Kiss 4/5: Interesting score piece, I'm not usually a fan of original score, but this was pretty cool. If you liked the movie, by the soundtrack! You won't be disapointed.
