Free Music Notes for Billy Elliot (2000 Film)Free Music Review: Great movie, great story, great music !!! Hit: 5 Stars
From such a moving and touching movie comes some equally touching music. Each song reminds one of an important part of the movie and each song has a message to it. Making one think of the 80s when groups like the Clash were big, it takes one back to what seems, in comparison to today, a simpler time. My hat off to Jamie Bell for his convincing and wonderful performance as Billy. Jamie is a talented actor as well as dancer. I look forward to seeing more of this multi-talented actor. Great job Jamie and also the rest of the cast !!!
Free Music Review: Billy Elliot DVD Hit: 5 Stars
Why, o why, are there only five stars?! If you are a fan of this gem of a movie, you will find yourself putting it on your Top 5 Things To Save In The Event Of A Fire. Then, you will find yourself shuffling and reshuffling its rank betweet the dog and this DVD. Homage to Stephen Gately and the other little-known actors: dad, nana, friend, on and on. Remember the face of Billy's dad at Billy's Swan Lake performance. It will get your through your darkest times and help you realize that there really is light all around you.
Free Music Review: Perfect! Hit: 5 Stars
Billy Elliot, one of the top movies of 2000 in my opinion, deserves kudos for it's actors, script, and characters, not to mention the fabulous music that goes along with it! With playful songs from Brit band T-Rex (Cosmic Dancer, Ride a White Swan), hard core songs like London Calling, and the touching sound clips from the movie, this soundtrack fits in perfectly to the movie. You really can visualize each scene to the music, as well as enjoy it as a separate entity from the film. One of the best this year!!!
Free Music Review: Fantastic sound track for a fantastic film Hit: 5 Stars
Like the film Billy Elliot the sound track is just as good. With songs from T-Rex the Jam and Stephen Gately there is as much variation as you could possibly want. The main song being from Stephen Gately is a perfect choice becasuse if you listen to the words it could of been written specially for the boy Billy Elliot or any one of us. The sound track is perfect if you want to relive songs from your youth or just to remember the film by. Every fan of the film must own this soundtrack.
Free Music Review: very good cd Hit: 5 Stars
i absolutely loved "billy elliot" so i felt it was necessary for me to buy the cd just for the movie. yet, the cd stands very strongly on its own. its a great collection of all different types of music and if you like the movie, you'll like the cd. the best song is "town called malice" and the dialogues are great for practicing your british accent.
