This soundtrack misses the best performance in the movie, that of Jack Ingram and the Beat-up Ford Band. In the scene where Bullock and Connick are dancing, Jack and the boys are the band at the dance. This is real Texas folks. Sheryl Crow and Bob Seger? Garth Brooks? I saw this movie about 3 or 4 years ago, i can't remember when exactly, but even before I saw it, I already bought the soundtrack. The reason why I bought it was because I saw the trailer for the movie and there was this great song playing in the background when Harry Connick was dancing with Sandra Bullock in a fair or something. Well, imagine my disappointment when I listened to the CD and my song was not included! So if there's anyone out there who remembers/knows that song from the trailer, a little help would be great!Free Music Review: My favorite for winding down and relaxing

This is my favorite cd I have ever owned. The collection of music is variety that is not found on other soundtracks. I enjoy The Rolloing Stones, as well as the Garth Brooks, Lyle Lovitt, etc. A must have in any music lovers collection! The soundtrack for HOPE FLOATS is the perfect companion to the movie by the same name. The soundtrack features a slew of artists with some stellar performances. Both Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood turn in commanding performances of "To Make You Feel My Love", a Bob Dylan cover, in my humble opinion Trisha Yearwood's is far and away better than Garth Brooks, with her suttle voice very poignant and direct. Sheryl Crow's "In Need" is a soft, touching song. Bryan Adams gives us a tender ballad which is very soothing and beautiful in "When You Love Someone". Martina McBride and Bob Segar excel on the ballad "Chances Are". One of those most beautiful tracks is Deana Carter's poignant "What Makes You Stay", which is endearing and reflective. Other artists on the soundtrack include Lyle Lovett, Lila McCann, Rolling Stones, Gillian Welch, The Mavericks and more. Overall its a great soundtrack to listen to, captures the mood of the movie perfectly.Free Music Review: A misic journey
