If you have seen the unbelievably good movie 'In The Mood For Love' then you know what a great soundtrack it had. The movie is not just dialogue, it is the MUSIC that sets the 'mood'. My favorite track in the entire movie is Yumiji's theme. Oh my, it is so beautiful that it will make you weep. I absolutely adored the movie, and while I cannot watch it everyday, I can definately listen to its soundtrack and feel that I have. This soundtrack sets the mood perfectly and is quite superb. I recommend it immensely.

The chosen instruments, the songs, the background are all perfectly chosen to experience the meanings of uncontrollable loneliness and irresolute despair. One need not watch the movie to understand the underpinnings of this soundtrack. I bought this soundtrack when the movie came out in the theaters here. If it were possible, this music is a place I would like to inhabit. I don't know what to think of the movie itself, so bizarre. But the soundrack is worth listening to again and again. Nat King Cole singing in Spanish with a bad accent. What a thing. Los Ojos Verdes. . .So personal and so naked sounding.
