Free Music Notes for Love & Basketball: Music From The Motion PictureFree Music Review: Where is Volume 2?! Hit: 3 Stars...There are so many songs that are not on the CD!! What the company should have done is released the soundtrack as a double-CD with ALL the songs! I would have definitely bought it, but now I'm not so sure. I'm in my mid-thirties, and I miss all the "old-school" jams!!
Free Music Review: great cd Hit: 5 StarsI think this is really great cd for music lovers of r&b, old and new.
Free Music Review: A rare blend of old-school classics and current gems! Hit: 5 StarsI am a certified movie soundtrack junky, but as soon as I heard Love and Basketball I knew that my collection was complete. The light-hearted tone of the overall album is moderately tempered by the realities of the struggles we experience during our sojourn to "real love." Seasoned veterans like Al Green, Chaka Khan and Rufus remind us that love is an age-old tale that leaves whomever it touches richer and stronger. Hip-hop founders Rob Base and MC Lyte lay the foundation for unparalleled beats and rhymes that force us to let go of our inhibitions. Newcomers like Bilal and Angie Stone keep it mellow and simple--love me and I will love you. All in all, this rare grouping of exemplary artists serves as a wonderful backdrop to an equally superior film! Just listen to the samples...you will not be disappointed.
Free Music Review: Making Love in the Rain Hit: 5 StarsMaking Love in the Rain is by Janet Jackson, try checking it out on Napster...It IS a great song, don't know why it's not one of her better known songs.
Free Music Review: the Maxwell song Hit: 5 StarsThe Maxwell song that everyone is asking about is called "This Woman's Work" by Kate Bush. It can be found on his Unplugged CD. It's also on a Felicity soundtrack and the soundtrack for "She's Having a Baby." I love that song, too, and was disappointed it wasn't on the soundtrack. Hope this helps you find it.
