Free Music Notes for Remember the Titans: An Original Walt Disney Motion Picture Soundtrack (2000 Film)

Free Music Review: Could have been better
Hit: 2 Stars

Don't get me wrong. This is a fine soundtrack. But ANY 60s compilation CD would suffice. Given the rich orchestral themes which were played at length throughout the film it is a pitty that a film score wasn't released in addition to the soundtrack with the 60s songs (as was done for For the Love of the Game).

Free Music Review: I get chills!
Hit: 5 Stars

When I saw this movie, I laughed, I cried, and I cheered...and what helped to heighten these feel-good emotions was this music - it played such an important role in creating the wonderful mood in the movie that it deserves an oscar for "best supporting role". I can't listen to Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell's "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" without getting chills down my spine, just thinking about the awesome feeling I get when people come together in love and respect for one another. If that's not what music is about, I don't know what is.

Free Music Review: The Score
Hit: 4 Stars

This is a great cd. I am not a big fan of some of the stuff on here, but the Titans Score at the end of the cd is amazing. it is quite intense. the movie is phenominal, the best sports movie made, except for caddy shack. that movie is the best movie EVER made. but the soundtrack is great for ya, if you are into the type of stuff on here. i was disappointed that there wasnt more of the instrumental pieces included.

Free Music Review: Have fun with your kids, see this movie!
Hit: 4 Stars

Your kids will love this flick and you, dear parent, will adore it. If you are a product of the early 70's, the situation will remind you of awful times past. It will also enforce the value and rewards of an open mind and a willingness to give others a chance. The music - magnificantly chosen from the long litany of 70's greats - just might inspire you to take to the aisle and dance your heart out. However, because you have taken your kids to the movies, you know you can't do this (besides they probably have a friend or two with them and you don't want to totally embarass your kid, not to mention yourself). You will undoubtedly make a mental note to put this CD on your Christmas list. And well you should. Your kids will enjoy this movie. There is action indeed (albeit football) and lots of funny situations. Additonally it will make for lots of dinner conversations and will probably change the way you and your kids watch a weekend football game. You ALL might just get up and dance when you play it at home - yahoooo! Enjoy and shake a leg!

Free Music Review: I'll wait
Hit: 3 Stars

The movie was probably the best of the year. The music fit the film perfectly however I do not want a song compilation. Like "Armegeddon" and "For the Love of the Game", I will wait for the score to be released.
