Free Music Review: Why aren't Movies Like This Anymore???
Hit: 5 Stars

I watched this movie for the first time just recently, and I'm amazed at how good it was. It is now my favorite movie. But what's best about it is the soundtrack! The soundtrack was perfect to the setting and represents the feelings of the characters. The characters are all traditional and this music really reflects that and makes the movie that much more enjoyable. I admit that I was dissappointed to see that Jewel's Angel Standing By(played during the transplant scene and David Duchovny breaking down) wasn't on there as well as Frank Sinatra's Long Last Love (the guy's selection for Gracie and Bob to listen to in the garden). The best part of the whole cd, is that they put the songs that Joey Gian sings on it. I was amazed at what a good singer he is. I've never heard of him until I saw him in this movie. He is up there with Harry Connick Jr! Even though Jewel And 'Ol Blue Eyes didn't make it on the cd doesn't take away from the general representation of the movie. Because all the rest of the music is on here and no music "inspired" by the movie, it really makes it worth getting. Buy this cd, croon and swoon with Dean Martin, Joey Gian, and the Jackie Gleason Orchestra. It will make you FEEL good and maybe even wear out your copy of the movie!

Free Music Review: Great!
Hit: 5 Stars

If you love the oldies, you'll love this! Big band? Yep! It's all here. I love everyone of these songs! It's one of the most listened to CD's in our house. I'm too young to actually remember Dean Martin and those singers. However, this CD feels like a slightly modernized version of what I would imagine those days to be like.

Free Music Review: Missing some wonderful music!
Hit: 3 Stars

This movie is now one of my all time favorites! I only wish I could say the same about the soundtrack. I, too, would like to know what happened to the songs by Jewel and Frank Sinatra. Bonnie Hunt and her other arrangers and producers must have had some very big legal hurdles to conquer for them NOT to include theses two songs! And Joey Gian.......OH MY GOD!!!! What a voice!! He could croon me anyday!! I would LOVE to have some of his music. If anyone knows where to find some of his music, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let me know where to find it. Overall, this CD is good but it could have done without "Danny Boy".

Free Music Review: Oh, Joey Gian!!
Hit: 5 Stars

What can I say, where did Joey Gian come from? He has the most amazing voice, and "What If I Loved You?" I absolutely adore the song it is going to be my wedding song. I cannot find one thing about him on the web, if anyone knows anything I would love to hear it. This is a wonderful CD with many other great artists.

Free Music Review: Good - But Not Quite Complete
Hit: 4 Stars

I loved the music they put together for the soundtrack, but why oh why did they leave off Frank Sinatra & Jewel? The song sung by Jewel is the main reason I wanted the soundtrack in the first place. As much as I adore both the movie, and the music available from it, I was still dissapointed.
