Free Music Notes for Return to Me: Music from the MGM Motion Picture SoundtrackFree Music Review: Disappointing Hit: 2 StarsI LOVE LOVE LOVED the movie, and eagerly purchased this soundtrack thinking the best of the best would be included. NOT SO! The CD contains LESS THAN 40 minutes of tunes, most are somber and unmemorable, and with the exception of the title track including both Dean Martin and Joey Gain's wonderful versions, this is lacking all the guts of the movie...like when they dance in the garden and Blue Eyes sings his heart out. Or when Gracie gets her heart transplant and the sweet vocals of JEWEL play in the background. There was so much emotion in this movie and in the music accompanying it; too bad for the most part this CD just missed the impact.
Free Music Review: Stop kvetching, already Hit: 5 StarsEnough with the Frank Sinatra and the Jewel songs. What everyone appears to be overlooking is the great song by Joey Gian, "What if I Loved You" played over the credits and, of course, the incomparable "I Second that Emotion." If you get the DVD version, there's a video version of "What if I Loved You." If you're like me, you'll play it over and over.
Free Music Review: Brilliant Hit: 4 StarsThis soundtrack was wonderful!! I enjoyed the movie a great deal and the songs were perfect for the movie. I ,too, was dissappointed that Jewels "angel standing by" was not on there . I thought that at was the most touching part of the movie. But,all in all, this is a great collection of songs.
Free Music Review: Return to Me - Movie Soundtrack Hit: 4 StarsWell this is absolutely my very favorite movie. It was just a wonderful film and that is all there is to it. However, there is a sequence in the film where Driver and Duchovny are dancing to a great Sinatra number and I was very disappointed it was not on the soundtrack. It is a great song and a great section of the movie and I could not believe it was omitted.Had it been on the soundtrack I would have given this a rate of 5. It is still a delightful soundtrack though. The instrumentals are beautiful and very moving. I loved this film and the music in the film helped separate it from all other romantic/drama comedies.
Free Music Review: Italian song Hit: 4 StarsCan someone tell me who sings the Italian song played towards the end of the movie when he goes to Rome and finds her? What is the name of the song? Thanks!
