Free Music Notes for William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet: Music From The Motion Picture (1996 Version) [Enhanced CD]

Free Music Review: a wild sexy romp
Hit: 5 Stars

This lusciously designed soundtrack copies the sexy atmosphere of Leonardo dicapprios orgasmic performance as sir Romeo. I have bought numerous copies ofthis album as i fond its the greates compilation ever to be birthed!!!!!even better than the godthumb sountrack (another must have)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!@$#&

Free Music Review: Sucked!
Hit: 1 Stars

If anyone cares about Shakespeare at all, one will not appreciate Mercutio as a drag queen in a sequined mini-skirt and Leonardo DeCaprio as Romeo. Give me a break! I set the film out on top of the fence for the trash guys. They might have enjoyed watching it da 'hood but somehow I don't think they'd have liked it, either. Just makes good theatre get a bad name.

Free Music Review: Perfect compliment to one of the best films ever!
Hit: 5 Stars

Baz's masterpiece that was Romeo and Juliet was heavy on the mainstream MTV vibe and so justly so is the soundtrack to go along with it. Starting off on a great note with "#1 Crush" by Garbage this soundtrack serves the best track here right off the bat. Followed up nicely by Everclears "LOcal God" one of my personal favorite Everclear songs. Everclear was prime choice for a track here since they were, at the time, standing tall on the success of their "Afterglow" album. One Inch Punch serves a great track with "Pretty Piece of Flesh" which is sported in one of the films most memerable scenes. Not a Butthole Surfers fan but there track here is a standout, believe it or not. Things are slowed down with "Angel" a beautiful song that brings to mind memories of Claire Danes in her costume and the slow yet soulful "KIssing You" by Des'ree is welcome. Radio Heads "Talk show Host" is great but it's the closing "You and Me Song" that stands out above all, mostly because it doesn't seem to fit with the vibe of the CD, but it's escused because it's such a great song. I cant think of a bad track here, everyone is worth listening to...Highly Highly recomended!

Free Music Review: Starts great - dies a slow death
Hit: 2 Stars

Is close to the bottom of my list. I question the taste of the other reviewers. It shipped to the office. We put it in the CD. Everyone is laughing at it - and me. Save your money.

However - the first tune - by Garbage - is good.

Free Music Review: Talk Show Host
Hit: 4 Stars

This soundtrack is worth all of the money it costs just for song 11-talk show host-radiohead.

All of the other songs are pretty much garbage.
