Free Music Notes for Arabic Groove (Putumayo Presents)Free Music Review: Groovalicious Hit: 5 Stars
No clue what they're saying, but it's too much groovy to just chill out and listen to, though I'm listening to it know as I'm typing this. Fun, dance party music for cool people open to learning a little about other cultures, or even for floor work when at the gym because of the great rhythms. You won't regret the purchase.
Free Music Review: Beautiful, exotic! Hit: 5 Stars
Love, love, love Natacha Atlas, Dania Khatib and Khaled!... The women's voices on this CD are exotic, mesmerizing... Love the jazzy sax in Khaled's song. The mixture of styles is entertaining. The CD is beautifully mixed and the artists are passionate, talented. This is a really fun CD that I listen to over and over.
Free Music Review: sensual, trippy dance music Hit: 5 Stars
I'm sure Putumayo knows this is not tradidional Arabic music. It's based on it, but has Western influences and is totally danceable. If you are closed minded you may not get it, but this CD kicks butt in the dance genre! I love it! It makes you feel you are in a dance club in Beirut or Cairo. Buy it and enjoy.
Free Music Review: Awesome CD Hit: 5 Stars
I just wanted to let anyone who's thinking about purchasing this CD that it is one of the best CD's I own. I received it a week ago and have played it at least 50 times. It's a great CD, with great music and great beats. Even if you don't know the language (which I don't) it's still an awesome CD.
Free Music Review: Love it, love it, love it. Hit: 5 Stars
I performed a group middle eastern/belly dance to "Moi et Toi" it was very successful. Kidda by Natacha Atlas is amazing, also love "Leiley" a fantastic album all round for belly dancing or for everyday listening, I know I listen to it everyday.
