Free Music Notes for RatatouilleFree Music Review: This is an enjoyable score Hit: 5 Stars
This is an excellent score from Michael Giacchino. The first two tracks capture the romance of the setting of France perfectly. Camille has a sexy singing voice on the track "Le Festina". "Welcome To Gusteau's" is a warm and inviting track. I love the accordion playing here. I love the jazzy sound of the track "Cast Of Cooks" The sax playing is cool and slick. I love the frenetic pace of the tracks "100 Rat Race" and "The Paper Chase" "Remy Drives A Linguini" is a very fun track about the relationship between the two main characters. The music featured in the ending credits is sensual. It has a tango like sound. This score is so much fun to listen to.
Free Music Review: Bistro Music Hit: 5 Stars
Michael Giacchino's "Ratatouille" soundtrack is sweet and savory. Ironically, it would be perfect background music for a bistro. Most soundtracks are narrative. "Ratatouille",however, has restaurant music. It's got its highlights, but the soundtrack is a seamless whole.
"Ratatouille",like the dish it's named for,is simple. Simple, but delicious! The main song, "Le Festin",is sung by Camille, who's better known for her avant garde chanson. It's gloriously joyful. "Colette teaches Linguini Le Ropes" is a salsa-flavored tango. "Remy Rides a Linguini" is droll.
"Ratatouille" is one of the best soundtracks ever. It's tasty!
Free Music Review: excellent soundtrack, perfect for anyone who loved the movie! Hit: 5 Stars
I loved the movie so much that I bought the cd the day after watching it. My favorite track on the cd is 'Le Festin' : great melody and vocals... such a mesmerizing and memorable track! The rest of the tracks made me relive parts of the movie: where Remy first sees Paris, when he runs away from Skinner with the will, the escape from Granny's house...etc. The instrumental arrangement is perfect: very mouse-y, lots of movement, with such emotional twists and turns. The music will make you want to smile, dance, or....even scurry around like a mouse :)
Free Music Review: A Tasteful Treat- Ratatouille Hit: 5 Stars
Anyone who has seen this movie will agree that it is up to Pixar's usual level of excellence. Almost getting to be boring isn't it? Headline: Ratatouille, A new Disney/Pixar film another smash, even sounds boring, But it's not the soundtrack to this film is perphaps the best ever made for a show about a rat who works in Paris as a gourmet chef! But seriously it does make for wonderful listening and is truly a rare treat in a world full of junk music. Bon Appeitit!
Free Music Review: Giacchino Did it Again - YEAH! Hit: 5 Stars
This isn't just another of Michael Giacchino's great soundtracks. It is a soundtrack filled with emotion and beauty. Listening to it will bring back your favorite moments from the film (and no, I wasn't paid to say that). I love this soundtrack. My favorites tracks are almost half of them; 1, 9, 11-14, 18, and 21-24. This is one of the best CDs out there by the best up-and-coming score composer, Michael Giacchino.
