Free Music Notes for Secret Life of the VeronicasFree Music Review: Brilliant Album By True Singers Hit: 5 Stars
This album can't get better. I Never stop listening to it. Just brilliant. This one is The Best Album Ever. The Vocals are top notch and the Instruments are brilliantly placed. They took 2 years to make this album and it SHOWS its perfect!!!
I'll got into track by track with fave/standout lyrics
* means standout vocal!
Track By Track:
4ever-Most people have heard it, its rocky and flirty, to them its about being young and never looking back, NO REGRETS Brilliant music, The Guiter Tabs have a energy too it similar to ...Baby One More Time but rockier, one of the best Tracks out now!!
the Drums also keep a good beat during it too. its sounds great in acoustic_LYRIC:Tell Me What Your Waiting For?<<>>Come With Me...Forever*~5/5
Everything I'm Not:This song is about trying to be something your not to get someone but suddenly releasing you don't like it and taking a momant to find yourself. Its abit more laidback then 4ever but is twice a fiesty. The Chorus is dancable, and the Verses have attitude. The Middle part stands out cause its lyrically/musically different from the rest of the track by faster guiter and thankful instead of straight hate. It Does sound like one track by Avril, Don't Tell Me but not much. it has its own edge _
Lyric: Wait A Minute*/Because Of You/I Never Known/All The Things That I Have~5/5
When It All Falls Apart: this song is the second most fiestiest track on the album next to Mother Mother. The lyrics are edgy. the sound is slightly more uptempo to EveryThing I'm Not. Serves as a great bridge between this track and track 4. Its abit more balanced. Almost anyone can relate to it lyric to lyric. its just a fiesty track! That will suprise you constantly One Of A Kind Track!!!_
Lyric:Everything Is F'd Up/Straight From The Heart<<>>...When It Rains It Pours*~5/5
Revolution: sounds like Ashlee on Love Me For Me or Hilary on Supergirl or First by Lilo lyrically and musically. awesome track. Theres a few seconds on the song that the music turns almost soft and violinish. Then it goes back to the original straight out-Rock and it shocks you. Its definately the second flirty track on this album. (besides obviously 4ever) just makes you wanna dance, really rocky. The vocals at first will suprise you and maybe turn you off. Then you'll just love it for its lightness. A true stand out from the get go. Always will be a fave. Really relatable!!~Lyric: I'll Blow Your Mind*/I Am/I'm A Revolution_5/5
Secret: This song is like Weird (by Hilary Duff) in the sense that it starts of soft and then goes into full-on rock. Has a edge to it that NO ONE will ever get at the same time. It talks about someone being 'Obsessed" with one of them, Then that person being "Scared" of them and Then tells them to just basically chill about it because they "call me six times a day" "Spend All your money on me" etc.. and that she never have previously to that looked at the person that way, then admits that she has told him secrets 'that no-one else new' and was telling everything about her. but unlike Wierd the ending is the same as the start. and one of them does some moaning at the end so sorta get the point across. Again Anouther song that will shock you with its (almost {^see hilary duff comment}) originality just check when you get the CD, you'll see...~Lyric:I always Thought You Were GAY*-5/5
Mouth Shut: going from Secret on to this album it will suprise you. Its similar to Everything I'm Not in idea but she got more emotionally attached to the guy + is scared that she is gunna break his heart but this is what shes gotta do. cause she was keeping her mouth shut way/far to long. and pretending to be something shes not to MAKE THE Relationship Work, even though it shouldn't've worked fors so long and she relised it too late. and she doesn't like who shes become due to making the relationship work. Complicated but it works
the Production MAKES you feel what shes feeling which is what happens often though-out this album. the ending is the most rockiest part of the song. very Mr James Dean like ending. theres this beautiful peice of silence in the end of the song that always gets me!!~Lyric: I've Had My Share Of Closing* Doors...Kept This Inside Me All This Time
Leave Me Alone: Reminds me of Lonely by Britney but rockier..maybe + most Ashlee Simpson songs, like Love Me For Me + Fly by Hilary Duff + Lyrically is like Out Of The Blue by Delta. the long chorus and small verses. and The Corrs. ONE OF A KIND!!! The sound is original the guiters carry the song. their vocals are very agressive, angry and fiesty. and VERY expressive!! Always great to play first thing in the morning. Just wakes you up! Really fun to sing in front of the merror, The lyrics are very patronizing and just have a energy thats second to none. The vocals are like Britneys vocal in What Its Like To Be or Lonely or Showdown...her more vengeful angry songs in general there vocals are very Britney like. They have mastered the Britney-Groan..., All the lyrics are standouts theres a big echo effect on the Leave Me Alone the chorus and the final few Leave Me Alones are really expressive. This lyrics i can relate to the most.~Lyric:I'm Getten Tired Of You/Pushing Me Down/Draggin' Me Down*
_5/5
Speechless: This is my current Standout track, (i'll do a list of them all in order at the bottem) This is the only true ballad on the album. really soft. your barely hear the orgastra in the backround. But there is one there!! (i read the linear notes) All you hear is Acoustic Guiter, touches me like nothing else can, the vocals are really vulnable and soft + dreamy too. Again this song comes at you with a suprise after Leave Me Alone! Really breathtaking and touching and will more then likely make you cry whether or not you know or have been what there talking about or not, just Beautiful. Really perfect!!~Lyric:Your Leave Me Breathless*/The Way You Look At Me
Heavily Broken: this sounds awesome acoustic but the album version is also good, and unlike Kelly its got a positive not that goes through the whole album. That is simply NEVER GIVE U., the sound is constant and the vocals are perfectly placed another song that will make your cry. the vocals are perfect. and most people will relate!!~Lyric:Can't You See That I'm Chocking*_5/5
I Could Get Used To This: THIS IS NOT A BALLAD, Though It Is sweeter then Leave Me Alone or Mouth Shut, its about an 'almost' perfect relationship. i'll get onto that later. its what every girl wants and what i relate to mostly. Its similar to Peices Of Me but rockier on most levels, has similar idea.... The vocals go up and down on the Verses and Choruses, but generally they keep in the higher loved up vocals like on Speechless. Most Of The Lyrics stand out but this is one that holds special meaning to me, both of them actually!!~Lyric: When I Freak/You Understand<<>>Lost My Reflex To Resist*_5/5
Nobody Wins: This song is just gorgous! everything is perfect. The lyrics are true to my life personally but most people will be able to relate. Its slightly dark as apposed to Secret or I Could Get Used To This probably alot!! It talks about the bad side of the same guy mentioned in I Could Get Used To This. Though not as musically powerful as Mother Mother or Leave Me Alone Its the lyrics that stand out, all of them Stand out!! Also Are really hard to pull of...but i'll go for something that has gone around my head for the last year and abit! and this song is Semi-Inspiring!!~Lyric:Maybe..There's Beauty In Goodbye<<>>>Far To High For Me To See*_5/5
Mother Mother: Most people hate it on first listen. But the more you listen to it, The more you WILL love it. every teenager can relate to it. the screams are really cool. Gives it a edge!! Almost every body relates to the EVERYTHIGNS FINE!! aspect..like Yes everythings fine (live is perfect, never better) when actually your life is track 3. The expression on this track also have a edge to it The music is chaotic like the song specially on the Second part of it. the LOSING in the first part chorus kills
and the stripped-piano in the second chorus gives a false sense of peace before it goes so chaotic it WILL knock you out. my personal choice for 4th single the 5th would be track 11, as i said everybody can relate to it, it just shocks you like the rest of the album!!!I can see this live. OMG that would rock!!(THIS IS A REMAKE)~Lyric:Would I Keep On Hiking Up My Skirt<<>>Life Is Perfect/Never Better(second verse)*_5/5
as you can see this is a top notch, unbeatable album recommended for anyone from Rockers to Singer/Songwriters cause they write 9/12 tracks on the album, Britney Fans, Hilary Duff Fans, Heavy Metal fans, anyone!!!
The tracks they right are all except for Mother Mother, Revolution and 4ever!!

Secret Life of the Veronicas PosterThe Veronicas are Jess and Lisa Origliasso, 20-year-old identical twins from Brisbane, Australia-and they are going to rock your world. Adding a tough edge to teen powerpop, and the looks and savyy to back it up, The Veronicas were signed to an exclusive production deal with Engine Room on the strength of their first demo. With their irresistible debut album, The Secret Life of the Veronicas, written and produced by the likes of Billy Steinberg (Madonna), Clif Magness (Avril Lavigne), Max Martin (Britney Spears), Dr. Luke (Kelly Clarkson), Don Gilmore (Linkin Park) and Toby Gad (Enrique Iglesias), among others, the secret is out about The Veronicas. Good thing we live in an age of internet-accessible lyrics. Otherwise, millions of teenage girls might find themselves mumbling through this collection of burn-the-joint-down pop instead of belting it out, which will be not only their first instinct but also their feverish, feverish desire. As a flip through about any teen magazine confirms, the Veronicas are a pair of identical twins from Australia who ooze coltish charm, volatility, and an aversion to jugheaded songcraft. Their debut does not belie the glossy claims: "4ever," the single leading the flock, crashes the gate with a punk-slanting, slightly Avril Lavigne-y boy tease, and though the energy stalls a bit on sleepers like "Speechless" and "Nobody Wins," it more than resurrects itself with the smart lyrics of "Secret" and the lathered-on boldness of "Mother, Mother," the most smokin' track Lindsay Lohan never sang. Part Bangles, part Benatar, and all babe, the Veronicas have crafted a 12-song bender that crushes the short-skirted competition. -Tammy La Gorce
