The first time I heard this album I was absolutely blown away!! Not just because the compositions are fresh, brilliantly espressive and vibrant, but the arangements and performances by the accompanying artists are extraordinary in every respect. The cuts are masterfully performed and the emotion, passion and fire of this rare masterpiece traverse the entire spectrum of the feelings and emotion that ARE the very heart and soul of Flamenco. (One side note: to my disappointment, the trumpet player on Limon de Nata is not identified, but the what he/she plays on this track is brilliant and completely unique!!) Flamenco and jazz. It's what I've always believed should and can be done.

Vicente's firey expressivo and warm chordal textures pull you in as if you were right there in the studio performance.

To be sure, El Maestro, Vicente Amigo's performance on every cut is pure genius. The order of the compositions are arranged such that when you have listened to the entire CD, you feel as if you just experienced an incredible musical journey. And when it's over, you want to go there again...

Get it while you can because it's very hard to find. This CD in particular is truly a timeless treasure.
