The songs in this album are well-know ballads songs, however they are not his typical Mexican Ranchera songs. He does a good interpretation of these songs. You will find these songs sung by pop singers such as Jose Luis Peralez, Raphael, Emmanuel, Jose Jose, Paul Anka, and many others and not necessarily ranchero singers.
While these type of ballads songs are not Vicente Fernandez style (ranchera/macho style), he does an excellent job interpreting these songs. In short if you are looking for a collation of his best songs, these are not. If you are looking to listen to Vicente Fernandez outside his ranchero style, you will be very happy with this album.
