I must admit I was thrilled to get this gem on cd. I belive it has always been difficult to find and most of my enjoyment came by way of tape. This is a fantastic speed metal album with some of the most insane solos ever. To me this is as good as anything. I did favor this over oppressing the masses those being the only two i owned. I understand its tough to find fans of violence but trust me this is one to be proud of having in the cd rack.I highly recommend this album it is very unique and has a very special flow to it. This one one of the best thrash albums ever made. I had it on cassette when it came out. Finally, after years of nonexistence they put on cd in 2005. I could rave for hours breaking down this cd. Take my advice, if you dig thrash metal, buy this cd you won't be disappointed! It was one of my favorites back then, and today it's still is in my top five best thrash albums ever. Vio-lence's "Eternal Nightmare" album is one of the top thrash metal albums of all time. Notice I said album. I owned this on vinyl and cassette the first time around and have been waiting for years for a CD to be reissued. Furious drums, intense lyrics, insane guitar work...this CD is the best of the best. this album should have made vio-lence better known that they were. i bought this on vinyl when it first came out and the intensity blew me away! it's about time this piece of classic
metal was available on cd. the only drawback is that it doesn't
sound like it was remastered. with today's technology it could
have been made to sound a lot better.

Off the top of my head, I would have to say YES! Songs are all fast all Thrash and no ballads that would take most other LP's out of the running from this era. They perfected the Thrash sound. I have waited for over a decade to own this on CD and now I do. This band should have been HUGE, at least as popular as other bay area bands. If you like Metal, GET THIS CD!
