Free Music Notes for Vision Quest: Original Soundtrack Of The Warner Bros. Motion PictureFree Music Review: Vision quest- Rock quest ! Hit: 5 StarsMaybe,it were not a very good film, although is acceptable.
It's worth just to listen to his music while the kid is on training in Spokane.
The soundtrack is really good, from start to end.
Great rock, Journey, Dio, Red Rider, Foreigner,Don Henley and the masterpiece SHOUT TO THE TOP, one of the best songs by Weller (The Style Council).
Play this CD on your car, you'll kill the road under your wheels!
This CD is great. Don't hesitate, buy it.
Free Music Review: Only the Young! Hit: 4 StarsOkay, the movie was a bit over the top. It was about wrestling. I love this compact disc and I even had the audio cassette prior. I love the cover with Linda Fiorentino and Matthew Modine. The music like "Only the Young" Journey is truly classic with Steve Perry's great voice. There are other songs on this disc like Madonna's "The Gambler" and "Crazy for You" which was the alternate title for the movie. I play this disc in the car and it brings back so many great memories of that decade. I wished Linda Fiorentino would act again and do more now. It's hard to believe that the two stars are now 50 years old but great music is timeless!
Free Music Review: Style Council is Overlooked! Hit: 4 StarsWhile I love this CD almost from start to finish, the Style Council is an overlooked 80s band.... this CD contains "Shout to the Top!" which I always found as a good balance to this motivational CD. From one ex-wrestler the movie is realistic, the CD is good for us 40 somethings trying to get back in shape. Good luck and enjoy!
Free Music Review: Left Out Hit: 4 StarsLiked the album & movie but in the soundtrack they should have dropped Don Henley's "She On The Zoom " ( weak song) for Berlin's "No More Words" which was in the film but not included on the soundtrack. Well, at the very least should have added the song to it.
Free Music Review: 80's Soundtrack Hit: 4 StarsVery good 80's soundtrack covering a lot of different styles of music from that era. Features the very hard to find Madonna song "Gambler" I don't know why this song was never a radio hit, maybe because the opening of the song sounds a lot like "Maniac" from Flashdance.
Standout track: Change by John Waite featuring a young Patty Smythe from Scandal on background vocals.
