"Eternal Endless Infinity" (2002) is the debut album by Austrian female-fronted symphonic band Visions of Atlantis. The influence of Nightwish is obvious here, although Visions of Atlantis moved away from that later on.

Most of the songs here are primarily keyboard-driven, and backed by some good guitar work and fast, power metal-style drumming. There aren't any flat-out amazing songs here, but more or less everything here is done well enough to hold the listener's interest (The main hook on "Lovebearing Storm" is reminiscent of the theme from the original Tetris game).

The male vocals aren't terrific. They got a new male vocalist after this album, but he wasn't much better. The production values on this album aren't as bad as some have made them out to be.

On the whole, "Eternal Endless Infinity" is a consistent, perfectly decent, if unspectacular, symphonic metal album.

Visions of Atlantis' Symphonic Metal debut from 2002. The band's potential was undisputedly noticeable on this release: heavy riffs paired with fantastic keyboard arrangements and the sweet soprano vocals of then 18-year-old Nicole Bogner conjure the perfect album for fans of Nightwish, Sonata Arctica and even Rhapsody.
