Free Music Review: Best release of wrestling music of all time...
Hit: 5 Stars

I have been a follower of the musical aspect of wrestling ever since the very first time I heard Real American (by Rick Derringer) used by Hulk Hogan. The music has become a very essential part of the wrestling scene today, in a way that helps enhance the experiences that much more.

As a mere collector of wrestling music, this came as a great surprise to get a lot of unreleased and variant tracks of some of my all-time favorites. Of course, quite a few favorites are noticeably missing, but that's what Anthology II is for, right?

Disc 1 is a collection of some of the greatest hits from the 80's up to the mid-90's. Disc 2 includes music from the mid-90's up until the new millenium (with a few tracks that should have probably been on Disc 3 for timeset reasons). And of course, Disc 3 gives you some of today's newest hits.

The only gripe I had with this CD is that quite a few tracks were shortened down from their full length. It's ok when they do it on some of the instrumental tracks that just loop forever, but on some key vocal tracks like "Break It Down" (one of the pinnacles of wrestling music), they should have put the full song.

But what fixes that problem is that quite a few tracks, although sharing the same name as previously released tracks, are actually completely different in some way shape or form. The following tracks are variants or remixes of previously released tracks:

Disc 1:
13. One Two Three - 123 Kid (Different than Full Metal release)
15. Can't Get Enough - Flash Funk (Different than Vol. 2 release)

Disc 2:
12. You Think You Know Me (Different than Vol. 3 and 4 release)
16. Oh You Didn't Know? - New Age Outlaws (Different than Vol. 3, no voice-over)
20. I Don't Suck - Kurt Angle (Different than Vol. 5 release, guitar remix)
21. Latino Heat - Eddie Guerrero (Different than Vol. 5 release, "Mamacita" version used with Chyna)
22. It Just Feels Right (Different than Vol. 5 release, instrumental version)
25. Oh Hell Yeah - (Different than Vol. 4 release)
26. If You Smell - The Rock (Unreleased remix of current theme)
27. Bad Man - Rikishi (Different than Vol. 5 release, arena version)
35. Break Down The Walls - Chris Jericho (Different than Volume 4 release, current version)

Disc 3:
14. The Game - Triple H (Different than Vol. 5 release, version used before using the Motorhead song)

So at least there are some remixes to go along with the unreleased tracks. With all this at the selling price, it's a great deal all around for any wrestling music fan.

Free Music Review: I have seen the light!
Hit: 5 Stars

I got into WWF (now WWE) a little late in my lifetime around the late '90s, so I am unfamiliar with most of the theme songs on the first disc. My WWF fanatic-ness started with disc 2, The Attitude Era. But since losing track with what went on with the WWF when we moved to a place devoid of cable/satellite, I lost interest in the WWF. This happened during 1999-early 2001 years. I caught it one night on tv when we finally got cable, but it didn't appeal to me as much. I lost track of the storylines and didn't know what the hell was going on. Therefore, I was no longer interested in the WWE (which at first looked weird when the logo didn't have the "F" in it).

In the fall of 2002, a friend of mine was an avid fan of the WWE. She (yes, a girl) talked about her obsession with Eric Bischoff (who I didn't even know of) was something intriguing and cute. She gave me the 411 about what was going on with RAW. Finally was the time to watch RAW for the first time (and to see who this Eric Bischoff was). Watching RAW, I felt as if I already knew what was going on. So once again, I got back into RAW. And later on, the same girl put on one of the discs from this album (I think it was The Attitude Era) and I was enjoyed by the songs I've heard. Hearing them brought back a lotta memories and reasons why I liked watching RAW in the first place. Since hearing it, I felt the need to purchase this Anthology so later on, I finally bought it. I have to give thanks to this girl (who would later on become my current girlfriend). She showed me the light.

Yes, even though I'm not familiar with the songs on the first disc, I still manage to listen to it in its entirety. Listening to this album (and constantly hearing about Eric Bischoff) gradually got me back into the WWE. Even though the WWE isn't as good and has probably gotten silly since Bischoff came into the scene, it's still damn good entertainment. And the many songs on this Anthology still provide me a good listening experience (despite a few songs omitted here) and brings back a lot of memories. Yep, so I give major props to my girlfriend for getting me back into the WWE with this album... and her talk about how much she adored Eric Bischoff.

Free Music Review: The UTIMATE soundtrack of wrestling
Hit: 5 Stars

Whenever WWE comes out with a new cd I just have to run out and but it (evan if it's worthless to own).I pretty much have every cd by them except for Aggression because it only had one song that was good (not worth it).Full Metal,Vol.3,and Forceable entry were awesome, but Anthology tops it all.I think of the cd's WWE makes as soundtracks and Anthology tops it all.You really get a treat with not one but three discs that should pretty much feature your favorite wrestlers.Disc one is piece of history with THE FEDERATION YEARS.My favs on this are:
"Real American"-Hulk Hogan
"Hitman"-Bret "Hitman" Hart
"Snake Bit"Jake "The Snake" Roberts
"Sexy Boy" Shawn Michaels
"Unstable"Ultimate Warrior
I don't know why Undertaker's graveyard/funeral ballad ain't on this.He was in WWE around this time.

Attitude reminds me why I love this entertainment. It really brought me back because it was around my time.My favs on this one are:
"D-X" They practically made the ATTITUDE era
"Stone Cold" Another leader in this era.As Austin would say:"This songs kicks ....!"
"Undertaker"It's not the theme from VOL.3 but well played

The NOW's pretty neat because it's up to date.
"Summerslam theme"-I get goosebumps.Real good track
"Chris Jericho"-Not a fan,but i was impressed with saliva on this one
"Undertaker"-He's got two tracks on here which is nice. One with lyrics and one without. One with lyrics are good, but they basically sound the same.
"Judgement Day theme"-It's short but I love it.I still get shivers when I hear this track alone
"Stephanie McMahon"-Great track. It describes her perfectley.

Those are my favorite pics,so if you're a fan of WWE especially their music than you gotta by this.
P.S.If you're interested in WWE's newest cd look for WWE ORIGINALS.
