I loved the movie and I love this CD. It has become a family favorite and my kids listen to it all the time. Joaquin Phoenix does an excellent job singing Johnny Cash. This CD is exceptional. I listen to it in the car, at work and at home. It is full of feel good music that brings back memories of being kids when things were all right in our world. The music is sung by the actors and one song by Reese is actually prettier than the original version.Free Music Review: Run, don't walk to see this movie.

It's been a long time since I've loved a film as much as Walk the Line.
I've watched it several times, and have yet to grow tired of it.
I had never been a fan of Johnny Cash or June Carter, but their love for each other was undeniable, and the bond so strong.
It took them years to finally be together, and the journey this film takes you on leaves you wanting to know more about them, and feeling as though you knew them.
Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon deserve every accolade for their portrayals. They were not impersonators, they were the heart and soul of Johnny and June, and that comes across so clearly.
They were so incredible.
See this movie, own it, and watch it again and again-you will be so glad that you did.

When I bought this cd I assumed it would be uplifting like it is in the movie. I was wrong. Don't waste your time listening to it more than once in a great while. The movie makes the music sound better.
