Free Music Notes for Walk the Line

Free Music Review: I would give this CD a 10+ if I could-and to think I didn't think it would be good??
Hit: 5 Stars

Joaquin Phoenix is very very impressive as Cash. I do believe he really captured the voice and spirit in the voice of "the man in black." The one that stole the show with vocals was Reese though. My goodness she can belt a June Carter song out. I loved the country twang and her performance was incredible. I own many Cash CD's and I am proud to put this release right next to the stack. John and June would be happy with the results of this CD....
Favorites:
*Cry, Cry, Cry
*I walk the line
*Juke box blues and the beautiful, "Wildwood Flower."

Free Music Review: Do not buy
Hit: 5 Stars

I was real excited to get my "Walk the Line" CD. It was an enhanced version of the movie soundtrack. There was a problem. If you wanted to hear the CD you had to join Rapsody. This was a very sneaky way to get you to join. You people at Amazon.com are really very good to work with and yes, you did give me a refund. HOwever, you cannot believe how disappointed I was in that transaction. This will not stop me from ordering from you but please tell all about your products. Anyone who sees the word "enhanced" on the cover of a CD be careful before you buy. Auburn Betty.

Free Music Review: Astounding quality!
Hit: 5 Stars

Its amazing how much two actors can sound like two real people. Witherspoon and Phoenix (I'm not sure how to spell it...) do an awesome job of singing these songs. They put a lot of effort into making the movie itself, but the actual singing took way more effort. Both of them went to music school for multiple months to make sure their parts are to the dollar. Witherspoon actually looked through June Carter's closet to make sure she knew what to wear! But thats just the movie. Seriously, this CD is amazing. One of the few soundtracks I listen to. An easy 5/5.

Rockin, Kickin, Must have!
I am a Cash fan for life. I have waited for nearly 30 years to hear someone make modern rippin recordings of the Man in Balck. This sound track is it!! I can't tell you how surprised I was at the quality and sound of Joaquin & Reese with that jammin band. The "ring of Fire" sounds almost like "Social D" is on stage. "Jackson" is a must for your CD player repeat button. This CD is a must buy, if you have any apreciation of good music, Cash or where music came from in American culture. The Orbison & Elvis re-do's are top notch also!!

Free Music Review: Simply Amazing
Hit: 5 Stars

I've seen "Walk the Line" twice now and I like it more and more each time. The soundtrack, like the movie, does not disappoint. The covers on this album are amazing. While Joaquin and Reese have some amazing duets (ie. "Jackson" and "It Aint Me Babe"), they sound just as good apart. As far as the cameos go, Tyler Hilton, Shooter Jennings, Waylon Payne, and Jonathan Rice as Elvis Presley, Waylon Jennings, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Roy Orbison (respectively) are just as amazing. My favorites are "Ring of Fire", "That's Alright Mama", and "Get Rhythm" are my favorites.
