Free Music Review: The best metal album of 2008

To begin with I'm not a big Nevermore fan. I like most of their stuff but tend to leave it after few spins. On the other hand I've always liked Warrel Dane's voice since the 80's days of Sanctuary. So when I heard he had a solo album out I decided to give a few songs a spin.
After hearing 'Brother' which is one of the most emotionally affecting song I've heard and 'The Day The Rats Went To War' with it's killer riff I decided to check out the rest.
And what an album it is. The rest is as good as the songs above and it has a big and powerful emotinal tone which I've become hooked to.
I'm a fan of the big names singers, Dio, Tate, Halford etc but I declare that this is one of the best sung metal album ever. Certanly the best Dane has ever done.
Go out and get it.
