Free Music Notes for Stand in the FireFree Music Review: The Best Music Moment Ever Hit: 5 Stars
The coolest rock moment ever is during this album's revved-up rendition of Poor Poor Pitiful me when Zevon tells George Gruel, his "road manager and best friend" to "get up and dance, get up and dance or I'll kill ya, and I got the means." Listening to his voice, You really believe Zevon was ready to do it. Gives me chills every time.

Free Music Review: Live rock and roll at it's finest Hit: 5 Stars
I owned this on vinyl back in the early 1980's and have been waiting a long time for the cd release. This is one of the greatest live rock and roll shows ever recorded! Zevon in his prime, full of energy.
I recommend this to anyone who loves rock and roll and great guitar work!
Free Music Review: Turn up the house lights ... Hit: 5 Stars
Finally on CD after all this time ... it was worth five stars even before the bonus tracks. Especially poignant is "Hasten Down the Wind" with Warren's banter with the audience ... "turn up the house lights, I found the ones who are my friends". Vaya con Dios, Warren.
Free Music Review: Worth the wait Hit: 5 Stars
This album came out while I was in college. Long out of print, I've hunted for this for quite a long time. Sadly it took Zevon's passing to get the rest of his catalog published and available on CD.
