I love, love, love this album. It is one of the rawest and truest displays of brilliance and unmusical music. That's about the best I can describe it as. Ian Curtis puts so much of himself in his singing (?) and it just screams to be listened to. Joy Division was a rock band. That comes through on this album. The sound is raw as is the recording but for me it's the best one, the least compromised one the most rebellious one. Great band never to return. One of those inexplicable "clicked".Free Music Review: Duh

I had forgotten about this music for a long time. This disc is very raw and unbridled. It is very early punk in style, with alot of blues guitar undertones. I enjoy nearly every track on this disc. Highly recommended.Free Music Review: Post Stiff Kittens - Pre Joy Division

This cd is basically a demo of what was to become the Unknown Pleasures album by Joy Division. It's much more raw than U.P., but every bit as good. A must-have for any Joy Division fan.
