Free Music Notes for Off the Deep End

Free Music Review: Best album of the decade!
Hit: 5 Stars

listened to it since i was 8

Free Music Review: Really Good Al-bum
Hit: 4 Stars

Smells Like Nirvana: Perfect, an absolutely awesome parody of Smells Like Teen Spirit! 5/5

Trigger Happy: I've heard this song literally 50 times on my ipod and it is still funny. Of coure, I do love the beach boys. 5/5

I Can't watch This: Another great parody, especially for MC Hammer fans, but everyone knows Can't Touch This, so this is a great song. 5/5

Polka Your Eyes Out: Man, this was a great polka, and I really love the Vanilla Ice remix at the end. 5/5

I Was Only Kidding: Well, he's done better, a lot better. I mean, this song should be funny, but it really isn't. It just doesn't work. 2/5

The White Stuff: A good parody, but there's only so much you can sing about when it comes to oreos. 4/5

When I was your age: Meh. This one was okay, but I don't like it as well as a lot of people I know. 3/5 Has some funny moments though, and I do repeat the line "I had to sell my internal organs just to pay the rent" as a joke sometimes.

Taco Grande: Heh Heh, this was excellent, excellent excellent. So funny, especially if you heard the original. 4/5

Airline Amy: I'm sorry Al, but couldn't you have just erased this song off the album and made one about tv, or food, or a kid addicted to video games? This one was just bad. It's not funny. 1/5

The Plumbing Song: Yes Yes Yes!!!!! ! I love this song, it probably helps that I like Milli Vanilli, but this song was a hilarious mash-up of Baby dont forget mny number and Blame it on the rain. So funny. 27/5 okay, 5/5.

You Don't Love me Anymore: Finally, a great original Al! Everyone who likes Weird Al LOVES this song. "You slammed my face down on the barbecue grill, now my scars are all healing but my heart never will." 5/5 Awesome!

So add that up and it makes 44/55.
Equaling 4/5 exactly. This was a great album, even though most of it is out-dated. Enjoy the Album, thanks Al.

Free Music Review: Good Al-bum with some weirder tracks than Al
Hit: 4 Stars

Although it was good, it was not great. Look and see:

Smells Like Nirvana: 5/5 "Were so loud and incoherent. Boy this oughta bug you parents." A very funny spoof of "Smells Like Teen Spirit."
Trigger Happy: 4/5 Hilarious parody of the Beach Boys.
I Can't Watch This: 4/5 Funny.
Polka Your Eyes Out: 4/5 Good, but after a while, polkas are repetitive.
I Was Only Kidding: 2/5 This just doesn't work.
The White Stuff: 5/5 Fantastic Parody of "The Right Stuff" about the center of Oreo's.
When I Was Your Age: 4/5 Underrated. "Had to sell my internal organs just to pay the rent."
Airline Amy: 2/5 Unfunny.
The Plumbing Song: 4/5 Pretty funny.
You Don't Love Me Anymore: 5/5 As a tortured comedic love song it's great, but do not burn on a cd. After this song there is a hidden track, and when you burn track 10 (for personal use, of course), the song will come out as about seventeen minutes because of the hidden track, which is just Al screaming. This hidden track is just thrown in to protect burning, before the days of dvd, and is not available on the cassette.

So that's 39/50 Although this is funny, it is not in the ranks with "Bad Hair Day" and "Running With Scissors." There are some very good "Al" tracks, but there seems to be too much filler. I eagerly await "Poodle Hat," in stores May 20th. Thank you for taking the time to read my review and feel free to leave me a helpful/not helpful feedback.

Free Music Review: eh, but I love the cover
Hit: 4 Stars

I didn't buy this, I borrowed it and I got to admit that some of this stuff is funny, but I mean I don't really take any of it seriously. The song "Smells Like Nirvana" is funny, and the video is pretty great. It's just that Wierd Al can't make his own music, so he has to make fun of other peoples. I loved his imitation of "Coolio", but I'm a huge Nirvana fan, but even though this album came out before Kurt died, I still find some of it offensive to bad mouth Nirvana, but I know that Kurt and the rest of the band loved that song, so I really don't care anymore about that. But I know Al didn't really mean much of it, it's just a game to him, which makes him a great artist.

Over now today his mind is blown away since people stoped buying his record, especially of the disaster of "Couch Patatoe". But these are the golden days of Weird Al. I especially love the cover with instead of a baby (ripping off Nevermind) you got weird al there, and the back of this looks the same of Nevermind except for instead of a cat it's Weird Al. For hardcore Nirvana fans, if Kurt loved it, why can't you?

Free Music Review: A gut-buster of a CD!
Hit: 4 Stars

I rated it at 4 stars because that silly polka really makes you impatient to hear the other songs. All I want to say about this album is that IT IS FUNNY! Songs like "Trigger Happy", "I Was Only Kidding," "When I Was Your Age" and "You Don't Love Me Anymore" will have you literally rollling with laughter! I especially love I WAS ONLY KIDDING and YOU DON'T LOVE ME ANYMORE, more songs about Al's pathetic love life. It would be real funny to actually see the fight during the musical of I WAS ONLY KIDDING. "The Plumber Song" is a catchy tune, but not real funny. I don't own this Cd personally 'cause I don't care for some the stuff on it, but YOU SHOULD KNOW it is the FUNNIEST WEIRD AL CD EVER!
