Free Music Review: Hilarious!
Hit: 5 Stars

Wierd Al strikes again with his 10th album. 12 more hysterical tracks from the parody master himself. I will rate them and give comments.
1. The Saga Begins= *****
A hilarious parody of the Don McLean classic "American Pie", only the subject is Star Wars: Episode I. Very well parodied.
2. My Babie's In Love With Eddie Vedder= ****
An original tune that parodies old school cajun music about how angry he is that his girlfriend dumped him for Eddie Vedder (for those of you who don't know, he's in Pearl Jam).
3.Pretty Fly (For A Rabbi)= *****
A parody of The Offspring's "Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)" about a crazy rabbi.
4. The Wierd Al Show Theme= ****1/2
The theme music to his television series which quickly got pulled off the air.
5. Jerry Springer= *****
A very disturbing parody of the Barenaked Ladies' "One Week", except it's about.... well, you know.
6. Germs=****1/2
An original tune about how we're all covered with bacteria, no matter where we go.
7. Polka Power= ****
Another one of his polka medleys. Several one hit wonders (Harvey Danger, Semisonic, Marcy Playground, etc.) are on here
8. Your Horoscope For Today= *****
Sidesplitting original tune about false horoscopes. VERY gory.
9. It's All About The Pentiums= ****1/2
A parody of Puff Daddy's "It's All About The Benjamins". The only difference (besides the words) is the use of heavy guitars. More of a Limp Bizkit feel.
10. The Truck Drivin' Song= *****
An original about a gay driving an 18 wheeler.
11. Grapefruit Diet= *****
A parody of The Cherry Poppin' Daddies "Zoot Suit Riot" about eating nothing but grapefuits on a diet.
12. Albuquerque- />ABSOLUTELY HYSTERICAL 11 1/2 MINUTE CLOSER! MUST BE HEARD TO BE BELIEVED!

Free Music Review: Magical
Hit: 5 Stars

In this hectic world of lonely confusion it is only human to seek connection--to search in vain hope for some understanding. I found that long-sought understanding here in the melodious words of Weird Al. Even the title of this CD is an expression of free thought and defiance against conventional understanding*
Especially notable tracks are:

1. The Saga Begins --
This songs time by accurately summarizing Starwars Episode I is only a few minutes. Also it is much more memorable.

4. The Weird Al Show Theme --
This absurdist ballad of one man's journey to sucess expresses frustration in the futility of struggling in a senseless world where that sucess is more likely found in random coincidence.

6. Germs --
This song connects with the collective paranoia of Modern Society, while exacerbating that paranoia.

8. Your Horoscope For Today
With its painfully accurate lyrics, this song speaks for everyone who knows their astrological sign. "You are the true Lord of the Dance, no matter what those idiots at work say" Al believes in you. "The stars say that you're an exciting and wonderful person, but you know they're lying" Al understands you.

10. Truck Drivin' Song
This song highlights the hypocrisy of Modern Society as it describes one man's continual defiance against Society's expectations.

12. Albuquerque
The tragic tale of a man who survives against all odds while haunted by a past that reeks of saurkraut.

This CD could possibly change your life.

*This review in no way condones the practice of running with scissors--that's on you buddy.

Free Music Review: Al is back, and in top form.
Hit: 5 Stars

"Weird Al" Yankovic's tenth major studio release finds him in top form. The format is pretty much the same as it's been in the past, with five song parodies, six original numbers, and a polka medley of popular songs. Al also sticks to many of his typical themes, including food, television, and movies. This time, however, there's a more polished sound, enough new ideas to keep fans happy, and, yes, plenty of laughs. Highlights include "Your Horoscope For Today," in which Al takes on ska and astrology; "It's All About The Pentiums," a Puff Daddy parody about a gangsta computer nerd; parodies of The Offspring and Barenaked Ladies; the traditional polka medley, this time entitled "Polka Power!" and including bits of songs by the Spice Girls, the Beastie Boys, Smash Mouth, Third Eye Blind, Marilyn Manson, Hanson, Marcy Playground, and others, all polka-fied; and, of course, the rambling epic "Albuquerque." Other songs, such as the lead track "The Saga Begins" (a parody of "American Pie" about "The Phantom Menace") and the Nine Inch Nails style parody "Germs," aren't exactly laugh-out-loud funny, but they're still clever. In summary, don't expect a radical new sound from Al this time around. If you like what he's been doing in the past, though, this album has him doing it better than ever. And if you only know Al as "that 'Eat It' guy," you might want to give _Running With Scissors_ a try; there's some stuff on here that's much funnier than "Eat It."

Free Music Review: ***THE FULL AL***
Hit: 5 Stars

This is probably Al's best CD. It starts off as a parody of American Pie to The Saga Begins which litterly tells the whole stroy of The Phantom Menace then a song making fun with Generation X (original) He then takes a turn to offspring with pretty fly (for a rabbi) which is filled with all this jewish gibberish and he then plays his theme song for his TV show. It's okay. Then he does a BNL parody, which is great! It's probably out of all Al's songs the most that shouldn't be for kids, but he says it so fast its fine. Then another original It's okay, GERMS which sounds like Nine Inch Nails. Then he comes to my favorite song, POLKA POWER! It hilarious! He does impressions of Marilyn Manson, Hanson, BSB, Spics Girls, Smashmouth, Madonna, Third Eye Blind, Hansn, Semisonic, Chumbawamba and my favorite part the Beastie Boys! Then he sings a great original about horoscopes in a polka mood! Very Funny! You get to see what he says about yours! Then he parodies Puff Daddy in this hilarious song about computers and how if yours is a month old.. it's junk! Then a funny original in one of his voices about this low-toned person drivin' a truck who is female! Then an okay parody that I have never heard the original thats about dieting. Then a song over 11 minutes that practically tells a life story of this wacko person. VERY FUNNY! On top of all this theres a "SECRET FILE!" for computer users when your browse your CD-ROM drive with the CD in it. You'll have to find out for yourself what it is!

...buy this CD it's one of Al's masterpieces...
