Free Music Notes for Weird Al Yankovic - Greatest Hits, Volume 1

Free Music Review: CLASSIC parody done in top notch form
Hit: 5 Stars

I am NOT a 'weird al' worshiper, however being a huge music fan I have LOVED all the parodies he has done over the years. This is a TOP collection of his best stuff up till the late 80's that no fan should be without! Funny thing is is that I have trouble listening to the REAL songs after hearing Al's rendition...that aside, it is just a great collection to pull out every so often and get a chuckle out of - something we all need now and then, eh?

Free Music Review: A nice look at the early career
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD puts many of Al's greatest songs from the first 5 years of his career into one collection. It's really great to realize how many awesome songs Al was able to put out in his early career. All of the song will have you rolling on the floor with laughter. This CD is good for someone who doesn't have the early albums, or someone who just wants to complete their collections.

Free Music Review: A Very Good Album!
Hit: 5 Stars

I think this was a very good album. It included Dare to be stupid and I Lost On Jeopardy, two of my favorites. I also like Fat, Eat it, Like a Surgeon and One More Minute. Addicted to Spuds really makes me laugh. I didn't really like Lasagna that much, but all the songs were good enough to give me it a five star rating.

Free Music Review: "Weird Al" Yankovic's '80s parodies!
Hit: 5 Stars

My favorite songs on this album are "Fat," "Eat It," and "I Lost on Jeopardy"--which are respective parodies of Michael Jackson's "Bad" and "Beat It," and The Greg Kihn Band's "Jeopardy." This album has parodies of a few OTHER '80s hits as well.
