I was fortunate enough to have been a part of the audience during this performance. Growing up, my mother exposed me to a lot of the music that I still find myself listening to today. In fact, she wore out the vinyl on the first Glass Harp's debut album.
It was my first time witnessing the band together as I had seen Keaggy play solo a few times prior to that night. Glass Harp embodies the three piece rock band sound. Add to it the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra and it turned out to be one magical night. I remember walking out of Powers Auditorium hoping that their performance was captured on master tapes and someday would be released to the public.
The following summer, I was back at Powers for a meet and autograph session with the band for the release of "Strings Attached". The cd quality is excellent and now I see myself following my mother's habit and wearing this two cd set out!
