I was a kid when this album came out, but I remember my mom bought the LP and going around singing it. George Michael's vocals are nothing short of incredible. The compositions (also by Michael) are put together very well, and Andrew Ridgeley did a good job of bringing the album about.
I once sang the first part of "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" to my girlfriend (as it played), and her face lit up with the most brilliant smile I've ever seen. This album is magic; give it a try.

When "Wake me up before you go-go" was released,i thought it was ok.Then came "Everything She Wants" & i had to have this album! That's the BEST fast song on the album."Careless Whisper" is the BEST slow song on the album.Whenever i hear it,it takes me back to 1985."Freedom" is ok.I've never understood why "Like a Baby" was never released as a single.It could have been Wham!'s 4th # 1 song off this album.

What an album!!You put two great musicians together and this is what you get, an album full of fantastic music that surpasses alot of the stuff that's out there from the past, present and I'm sure future. It is hard to repeat the great music in this one.
Ignore all one star reviews people, buy this and I gaurantee you won't be dissapointed.
This is good my fellow music lovers, it aint Floyd or The Eagles, so I know you'll enjoy!

I own this album and it is one of my favorites.
Two of the songs ("Like a baby" and "Careless Whisper") are slow ballads, the rest are energetic, rythmic disco songs.
All of them are focused on love, not on social justice or religion like some of George Michael's later songs.
Buy this CD, the music is damn good.
