After listening to this soundtrack countless times since I purchased the audio tape in the mid '80's...I finally wore out the tape! I enjoy this compilation so much! I had to get the CD the day my tape gave it's last barely audible play.The classics on here like "Careless Whisper" take me back in time to a decade I treasure.

This album has always been mainstream since its release. I was in a new mall in colorado with my girl friend. We were walking and the song "freedom" came on. I could not believe it, I had not heard this song in about 15 years. Do you guys remember the video for "Freedom"??? it was shot in China. It had chinese people dancing to the song, doing kung-fu and goofing off......it was darn cute [........]. I remember I could not get enough of that video. It made the song and the album just seem larger than life.
