The most exciting indie release I've heard all year, and if you can believe it, they are even better live! For fans of Spoon, Walkmen (although these are a stretch as WR have originality up the wahzoo, just points of reference really). Lots of great drums (two drummers!), enticing guitars and pounding keys. In all the wonderful noise the amazing thing is that the lyrics all stand out and the melodies are cathy as hell. You'll be bouncing along from start to finish. Take a chance on this, I promise you won't be let down. High points are "Kid On My Shoulders","The Plot","While We Go Dancing" and "I Used To Complain, Now I Don't".

Based in new york city, white rabbits have been together for close to two years and already managed to catch the attention of an critics and fans alike with their stellar songwriting ability and instrumental aplomb. Their debut album, 'fortnightly' draws influence from the latter-day sounds of the specials, the blue-eyed soul of the style council and aztec camera, the bombast of classic girl groups and the rhythms of old calypso and afro-beat records. Internationally the band have just signed a deal with tbd records whose only other artist is none other than radiohead.
