Free Music Review: I COULDN'T BE MORE TICKED 5 Stars
I don't know where to begin....I guess I'll say how much I loved the CD, it's great. But I love Whitney anyway, to me anything she sings sounds great. When I was carrying my son I couldn't play Preacher's Wife enough, my baby would just move around until he found a comfortable spot and then he'd just listen while Mommy sang along. My favorites were "You are Loved and I love the Lord". I know he enjoyed it, because after he was born and he would cry or get cranky I'd play it and he'd calm down. So I know Whitney has the power that few singers possess. I've seen her in concert twice and she brought tears streaming down my face and sometimes when I listen to her I'll get a chill. She's absolutely wonderful. I wish I could meet her so I could tell her to her face how her music and voice touches me. The new CD is just as great. On "I Bow Out" she did it again, made me cry. So I'd just like to address a few people about their comments..To HoneyVision Mariah is better from L.A., You are one STUPID HEIFER (cow)! You'd better check the charts again honey because "It's not Right" is #1 on the Dance/club play, "Heartbreak" is currently #3 on the singles charts. She's sold almost 90 million albums in all & this CD has already sold 2, count 'em you IMBECILE, 2 MILLION! And where do you get off calling Whitney all of those disgusting names? How can you feel comfortable writing this junk unless you know her personally. Have you seen her with her head between another woman's legs or vice versa?! If not, then I suggest you check yourself and stop letting the media guide you in your perception of people. Understand that Whitney is a human being first and an entertainer second. Maybe you're not as stupid as I gave you credit for, atleast you didn't sign your name and open yourself up for a lawsuit for slander if your comments fell into the right hands. To all of the others who seem to think that Mariah is so great and so much better than Whitney, please give it rest. Why even compare the two, they're so very different and they both have there own style. Mariah has a great voice, Whitney has a great voice. Why does one have to be better than the other? It's people like all of you that help make the world such a messed up place to be. As far as Mariah outsinging Whitney and that Whitney should be thanking Mariah for making the duet with her, is total bull----! How easy it is to forget that Whitney was a star long before the people that you rugrats are comparing her to. Such as Kelly Price, who is a dynamic singer, I think she's great; but do you have any idea how elated Kelly must have felt, being asked to sing with Whitney. Just like Whitney says she felt when she did Chaka Khan's "I'm Every Woman" and to have met her and to also have her on the set of the video. Do any of you young a-- dummies know why, no you don't. Because Whitney remembers being a little girl and singing along with Chaka's songs. She's woman enough and gracious enough to know the difference.
