Free Music Review: What can I say without gushing?

This CD arrived in the mail today and listening to it now is bringing back all of the emotions, reactions, and exhiliaration I felt sitting in the Gershwin theatre in early November. For me, there's no competition between Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel. They're both stunningly fantastic. As another reviewer said, in a sense it's truly Idina's show, but the fact is, each leading lady, and the supporting cast, does a phenomenal job. I've been going to the theatre all of my life, and this show impressed me in a way no other ever has.
If you're hesitating, don't. Get this CD now. You'll listen to it again and again. You'll relive the show if you saw it, and you'll find yourself enraptured in a new story if you haven't yet.
If you aren't tickled pink (or green) by "Popular", you must be in need of a brain. If you don't shed a tear or two during "I'm Not That Girl", you're obviously lacking a heart. And if "Defying Gravity" doesn't stir your soul to action and send a thrill through you, then go and hide in the bushes with the Cowardly Lion, because you're bereft of courage and vigor.
In other words, no, I guess I have to gush.
