Free Music Review: The best CD I've heard in some time.

First, my musical taste and background. The first record I heard that changed me as a kid from pop radio music to metal was the Kiss album Destroyer. Nothing special after that until I heard British Steel by Judas Priest and Ronnie James Dio took over Black Sabbath for a few albums. More nothing until Metallica came along with their first classic albums, before turning into a 70's classic rock cover band. The first Korn CD and then Korn doing Follow the Leader...excellent! The latest good stuff I've heard prior to this has been Kitty (anything by them), Killswitch Engage, Golden Age of Grotesque by Marilyn Manson, and Soulfly. Oh yeah--I have a thing for old Venom. So...
Jada ROCKS! If you're one of the kids into Dimmu Borgir and bands that have lots of speed with no rhythm or discernable lyrics ("bashaswhashamounoubarator....menubadamangalor!"), then maybe you won't like this. If you like burned out classic rock to go with your balding long hair and your drug habit--probably won't like this either. 80s hair metal or modern pop metal (is there really a difference between Hoobastank and Poison?) fans need not apply here either. BUT, if you like straight-forward metal from a technically excellent band (yes, the drummer is great), and a kick ass singer (you gotta admire Will Smith, he's rich and his wife is now officially one of the all-time rock hotties), you're gonna like this CD. Buy it!
