Free Music Review: One of the best albums Wigwam released, classic !

This album was the 2nd coming of Wigwam after the organist Jukka Gustavsson and bassist Pekka Pohjola left the band. In this era the band members were more equally contributing to the compositions. Jim Pembroke, who had lived years in Finland became the band's only singer and also contributed with several songs with his very personal style.
The band's sound also became lighter after the rather gloomy sounds in some of the earlier albums. Some people noted similarities to the band Caravan from the British progressive scene although Wigwam's sound was very unique, as always.
The band had also some ties to Virgin record label although they were never interested in touring widely abroad. Thus their wider commercial success never realised.
This album/CD is highly recommended for anyone interested in hearing one of the greatest icons of Finnish progressive bands in the 70's.
