Free Music Notes for Wilco (The Album)Free Music Review: Wilco(The Album) by a Wilco fan Hit: 5 Stars
I'm going to keep this short and sweet. If you like Wilco's for their clever lyrics and inventive music then buy this album. Everyone wants to compare this album to Yankee Hotel Foxtrot or how it would've sounded better if Jay was still around. Every album can't be an exploration, but if the lyrics are good, the music tight and it stays with you, unfold old memories and creates new ones then buy this album, it be cool.
Free Music Review: If you like Summerteeth Buy this Album!!! Hit: 5 Stars
Wilco is back with their strongest effort in years. Although I've enjoyed the last few albums, nothing has been as satisfying as YHF, Summerteeth, or Being There IMHO. Just when I thought Wilco was fading they come back with something great that is different but the same. It feels like Tweedy is back in firm control and that the new guys have fallen back into the mix, where they belong.
Free Music Review: Another excellent Wilco album Hit: 5 Stars
Another excellent Wilco album, this one is a little more polished than previous albums but very enjoyable, after about 3 listens it really grows on you. All the great ingredients of a Wilco album with a few nice surprises (Feist) thrown in. All in all a fantastic record to add to your collection.
Free Music Review: A really short review Hit: 5 Stars
If you loved A.M., Being There, and Summerteeth, you will love Wilco (The Album).
After Sky Blue Sky, I was worried that it was all down hill from there. I am glad that I was wrong. I loved every song on this album almost instantly, and that is rare for me.
Free Music Review: Great album Hit: 5 Stars
At first I was a little taken back by the arrangement of tracks on this album. However, after a few listens, it really begins to make sense. It's a mature album and follows up Sky Blue Sky very well. Perhaps a bit darker, lyrically. Overall, a great listen.
