First and foremost, Will: I'm praying for you and your family while you get through this situation. This too shall pass! Now, let me tell you how much I love this CD! I have all your music simply because I love your style, your voice, and your vibration that comes across in all of your recordings: Smooth and Stylish. You rock big time! This CD is so full of jams from beginning to end. Featuring guest musicians such as the great vibrophonist Roy Ayers(whom I love as well), and superb sax players Gerald Albright & Kirk Whalum. You re-made "No one could love you more" by the late great Ms. Phyllis Hyman. That song was my jam back in the day, and you did an excellent job on it brotha! Fans, go out and get this cd. Very Nice mellow CD, I too have all his CD's. This is a great CD, and I pray for him to get better. I am Glad this CD is his first #1 R &B CD. Very positive CD, with Luther and Gerld Levert no longer with us, this is one of the last True Male singers left. We still got Stevie Wonder, and a few other New Male singers that are good ( Robin Ticke, Kem,...Maxwell.. and a few others) Not too many others are true singers! Grab this CD and if he is new to you, you need to get all the other CD's there is like 10 or so that you need to add to this collection of Will downing. Will Downing is one of the great ones. I've always enjoyed his very mellow and smooth jazz flavor. The new CD is slightly different, in that it has more of an R&B feel than previous offerings. This is not a criticism, but rather, a testament to Brother Downing's versatility and ability to hang with any male vocalist. I am enjoying the whole project. "Lover's Melody" is the jam though. I am looking forward to hearing these songs performed live.
To all people of faith, let us all pray that our Brother experience a full recovery. Our GOD is more than able to bring this to past. Be blessed my Brother

What a come back, Will Downing is breathtaking! From beginning to end, every song is memorable and has that one of a kind Will Downing flavor. I've recommended this album to all of my family, friends and co-workers. And to think he recorded most of the tracks from a will chair is unbelievable and makes each song even more special and reminds us that ALL things are possible through Christ who strengthens us. Eversince I saw Will Downing perform with Diane Reeves at the Mayor's Jazz Festival ( at Red Rocks Ampitheatre), I have been a big fan of his; and, I have all of his cd's.
This cd, like all the others, is smooth and fluid, just like Will knows how to be. I love every song on this album, and it gives meaning to the words "Silky Soul." I would recommend this cd to anyone who loves to feel good.
