Free Music Notes for Red Headed StrangerFree Music Review: TIMELESS AMERICAN MUSIC Hit: 5 Stars
sparse, haunting, and poignant-- Willie Nelson's THE RED HEADED STRANGER is all this and more...with the economy of a Chekov short story, Willie and his band tell a tale of sin, death, and redemption in the mystical and mythic West..."Hands on the Wheel" breaks my heart every time....
Free Music Review: REAL COUNTRY! Hit: 5 Stars
It is a shame the absolute trash that they try to pass off as country music today. This is the album where Willie finally said screw you to Nashville and made a real country record. Willie is one of the few Outlaws left, and I if you enjoy good COUNTRY music. This is a great buy.
Free Music Review: One of Willie's best ever! Hit: 5 Stars
This recording made a Willie Nelson fan out of me when it first came out! In fact, "Blue Eyes" still rates as my all-time favorite Willie song. Even if you thought you hated country music, you will love this CD because Willie goes beyond Country to a genre of his own.
Free Music Review: great CD Hit: 5 Stars
I bought this for my husband's grandfather who's been a fan of Willie since the beginning. He used to own this album on vinyl and on cassette tape, so he wanted it on CD since he doesn't have a record player or casset tape player anymore. He reckons this is Willie's best album.
Free Music Review: Stranger No More Hit: 5 Stars
I bought this for my dad, (a Willie fan) but having a chance to listen myself found it to be a charming, innovative amalgamation of simple, sincere, sometime sinister, musical thought based on a recurring theme. A " stand alone" accomplishment from an American icon.
