I knew the songs "Stay You", "Knock it on the head" and "Never Ending" from Dawson's Creek and became curious what this album else has to offer (at least after the great reviews the cd got at amazon.com) and so i purchased it and i have to say: this album is just amazing!!! You have a great band here in WOOD. If you have not signed them up for the next record, please get wise and do so now! What the world needs now, is WOOD....sweet WOOD. I fear you guys have dropped WOOD from the label which is a crime that should be punishable by 30 lashes. This album is full of so many great tunes. Consistent from start to finish. The perfect mood adjuster.

Great CD! Wood is one of the best new bands of the year. Great lyrics, vocals and instrumentation make this very easy to listen to. While the CD tends to be on the mellow side, you can certainly hear the influences of Van Morrison, The Beatles, and Springsteen. This is one of those CD's that you will listen to SEVERAL times after purchasing and you will not tire of it.Free Music Review: Cerebral lyrics, great harmonica and soulful introspection.

An impressive first CD. Intellegent lyrics, easy to throw in the player and every tune is well crafted. I ONLY CAME FOR YOU evokes a John Lennonesque dreamy ballad. The mandolin on LET ME FALL,is soulful, and beautiful harmonizing on YOU SAID THE WORDS; haunting lyrics that aptly describe the end of a relationship. Haven't been this fond of a new band in a long while.Free Music Review: Fantastic

Bought the Cd after hearing 'Stay You', as I thought that was a first rate song. Then I read somewhere that the lead singer is from Leicester, England...and so am I. LOL, what a reason to buy an album! But I'd reccommend this album to anyone, and there aren't many that I could say that about. Go buy it, you won't be dissappointed. It's hardly been out of my CD player.
