What more can be said? The Woodstock Festival was a complete disaster from every aspect except the Music. Hugely talented people for whatever reasons(Drugs?, Setting?, Vibes?) kicked it up a notch and gave, in many instances, the performances of their lives. I said disaster, but credit has to be given to the fans who remained mellow and cheery despite the conditions. It was the last Peace, Love, Dope Goodtime of the 1960's and will bring smiles to the faces of people who remember, as well as to those who weren't around, with it's hokey idealism. Esta version de Woodstock es superior a la editada por el 25°aniversario, pues respeta al original LP de los setentas que aunque recortada y editada tiene una mejor presentación y sonido, ademas tiene una carga nostalgica enorme pues inclusive las imagenes de la portada respetan al original, cosa que no sucedio con la version del 25° aniversario,muy pobre y que dejo mucho que desear. I have to agree with the earlier reveiwer in that this set is the "real" Woodstock recording. While it's nice to have the extra cuts on the box set, the superior sound quality and all of the stage announcements make this the ultimate experience.
