Free Music Review: The W is the Wu's Sgt. Peppers
Hit: 5 Stars

Moving from their classic hip hop debut '36 Chambers,' to the dark, raw, drony, stream of consciousness sound of 'Forever,' 'The W' shifts more into a colorful, cinematic, soulful, and trancy sound scape that takes Wu listeners to a different dimension, or chamber, of the group. Though I still like 36 Chambers and Forever better, in its own right I think this is a 5-star album because of its ambition, creativity, and maturity in regards to the beats and MC'ing. Stand out Tracks, though the entire album is good, are: Careful (Click, Click), I Can't Go to Sleep, & Gravel Pit.

One piece of advice when listening to this album-put on some good headphones or listen to it through excellent speakers. The RZA's production on this record is FANTASTIC, and it deserves the full attention to detail of the listener.

Free Music Review: Get the Album!!!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

Like i said in the title. Get the Album!!!! The best song on the album is DO YOU REALLY (THANG THANG). It has a sweet beat but METHOD MAN sings the chorus a little too slow. He goes off beat then on then off then on and its sort of annoying. Of course the hits GRAVEL PIT and PROTECT YA NECK (THE JUMP OFF) are both banging. The songs LET MY NIGGAZ LIVE- feat NAS, THE MONUMENT-feat BUSTA RYMES, and REDBULL-feat REDMAN are sweet songs too. The bonus song CLAP is also a banging track. All in all I thought WU-TANG fell off,but this album, THE W, proved me wrong. they are back on the saddle and ridding fast.

P.S. IS THE SONG CONDITIONER A COLLABORATION WITH SNOOP DOGG AND OL' DIRTY BASTARD????????? GET IT AND HEAR FOR Music Review: The Wu is back!!!
Hit: 5 Stars I have been waiting for this album to come out since July and boy it was worth the wait. Somehow, the hit single "Protect Ya Neck" was changed slighty at the end of the song but nevertheless its a wonderful masterpice. Conditioner is an unexpected collaboration with Snoop and ODB which somehow works in terms of chemistry. Redbull is another oustanding track including the hot "Gravel Pick" track. RZA takes over the controls once again, the only problem with the album is that is quite short, with only 13 tracks making any WU fan ask for more. About 16 to 18 tracks could have made this album better but well, it's good to see the Wu back again. A highly recommended album. Not "36 chambers" but somehow its close.

Free Music Review: Classic
Hit: 5 Stars

Good album here. Shorter album than the other 2 albums. But worth it. This album gots great lyrics and beats. Careful is a banger by the way. This album seemed more like a throw in album. Not like something they really wanted to put there time into. RZA pretty much produced every track on this album. Plus they had more of a known single called "Gravel Pit", another good track. More mainstream sounding. Good though.

This album kinda takes you back to 36 Chambers, because it is super grimey. The beats are more dark/grimey, the style that they are good at. So thats a plus. This album might not keep you listening forever, but its worth the money definately. This album is hott thats why im givin it 5 stars.

Peace

Free Music Review: Good Hip-Hop....
Hit: 5 Stars

Yeah I'm as of late an avid independent/"underground" hip-hop listener, but Wu-tang's 'The W' helped set that fanism off with this album. Before this I was into the Beastie Boys, DMX, and Nas, I was a typical teenage kid who only had MTV as a resort for Hip-Hop. Before the album's release the song Gravel Pit had frequent videos played on MTV/BET. I was hooked by the originality, so I bought the cd the day it came out. Very good CD..the instrumentals are very original and pleasing to the ear canals. Even to this day I come back to this CD, and its now what 2004, and I am a real hip-hop enthusiast. These cats will always be emcees in my book, and this cd validates this for sure ;)
