All hail the return of the real Wu-tang! (although minus ODB)... this album sees the Clan return back to the basics with lyrical authority. Production done completely by the RZA makes this one feel much more like the Wu-tang we were introduced to with "Enter the Wu-tang...", not the over-produced, spread-thin clan we heard many times on "Wu-tang Forever". The obvious hole left by ODB is sufficiently filled by the rest of the Clan with Cappadonna and other guests - this one is worth buying.Free Music Review: wu boy

Listen all the reviews are comparing this cd to 36 chambers. Why would u do somthing ignorant like that. this cd is good in its own way. And ur stupid if u think artist are sopposed 2 play tha same thing over and over again thatz really dumb. when u come out u must change and evolve. this is an awsome cd . If u compare this to 36 chambers it suxs. Only because 36 chamber is great. But thatz like comparing 2pacalopse to me against the world. u dont do that. buy this cd. Just like the Wu-Tang did with their awesome debut 36 Chambers back in 1993, they recapture the magic that made them popular in the first place. The RZA produces 12 of the 13 tracks, with soulful samples and hardcore beats. Ol' Dirty Bastard appears on one track with Snoop Dogg. Raekwon is at his razor shapest on this CD. The W is a great Wu album, it could be compared to the old Wu stuff. It looks like the Wu have gotten the groove back, after making crappy solo joints for awhile. This is the best collaborative effort for the clan since they first appeared on the scene! Out of 13 cuts with a couple "extra" gems thrown in, I'm feeling albut about 2 and I know they'll grow on me. I'm a serious clan follower, but I'm very critical of the music especially as of late, but if your a fan of the clan, or a neo looking to check them out... this is a classic banger and a great place to start! In the words of RZA on Meth's first album "This S@$t is Bangin son!!"Free Music Review: This is a great album!!!!

This is one of the greats. This album is alot like the 1st album, Enter the 36 Chambers in both it's tone and lyrics. The beats are first rate and it has RZA's stamp all over it. Songs such as "I Can't Go To Sleep" and "Do You Really(Thang, Thang)" are great examples of the widespread styles of the members of Wu Tang. For all those who thought the Wu had lost it, check this album out. It is one of the better rap albums I have heard in quite some time.
