Free Music Notes for Wu Tang Iron Flag

Free Music Review: Wu 4 ever!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

Dis album is off da hook! Returnin' to dey original Wu-warrin', Shaolin, funky-azz kung-fu shiz. The Wu iz back! Da clan comes back in a cohesive fusion, like a musical metaphor of da original 36 Chambers yo. Dis IZ a return to da Chambers, dis IZ what Wu should be. And, don't let no Atlanta native tell you dis ain't raw, know wut I'm sayin', sayin'?

Meth, Gza, Deck, Killah get da real air time, droppin' what iz da best battlin' flow. Rza's on point, samplin' da Fu flix and mixin' obscure, hypnotic cuts into a maniacal blend of sonic assault. ... May da Staten island crew reign champion again.

Free Music Review: The Official END of the Wu-Tang as a group.
Hit: 1 Stars

I'm a huge Wu fan ( I even have the Playstation 'Shaolin Style' game) but This Wu-Tang album was complete garbage. This was BY FAR their worst album. If you think this album is better than 'The W' then you seriously need your head examined. There's hardly any good songs and definitely NO CLASSIC SONGS on this joint. The first problem is they let Masta Killa and U-God rap on the mic TOO MUCH. Why did they let these lames rap so much? There is minimal appearances from Ghostface Killah and Method Man, RZA raps too much on this album, absence of ODB, and the beats are SEVERELY LACKING, even with RZA producing some cuts the beats are weak. The first single off the album ( and only single ) Uzi- Pinky Rings is incredibly lame. I remember how dissappointed I was when I got this for christmas two years ago. I had a long list of cd's I wanted but I put this down as a 'must have' and that's what I got. And it was PURE WACKNESS. I couldn't even bootleg the cd...nobody wanted it. The only song worth anything would have to be 'One Of These Days" and it's not THAT good. If you have this try to sell it and if you thinking about getting this cd keep on thinking. A Huge disappointment. I never thought I would do this to the Legendary Wu Tang Clan but this album receives ZERO stars. Awful.

Free Music Review: The Wu is the greatest hip hop group ever!
Hit: 5 Stars

I have been a Wu fan before the release of 36 chambers. And I can say for all the bandwagon commercial wonnabee hip hop heads dissing the Wu. Needs to keep quite! Iron flag is a classic , and tru hip hoppers have been waiting for the Wu to drop a gem like this.Rza once again shows that he is the illest beat maker on earth, and all nine clan members show that they still have the sharpest swords in the game.I will rate this album a close second to Wutang forever. For all the haters out there dissing underground hip hop.Stick to watching TRL and 106&park!

Free Music Review: Another solid Wu cut
Hit: 4 Stars

Sometimes it's hard to be impartial when reviewing a band/group/artist you really like. That is the case at hand, but I must admit that this is by far the weakest album by Wu-Tang. I couldn't wait to buy this as soon as it came out, but I heard the complete album before its release and wasnt too happy. Wu-Tang is known for their unique, dark beats, but this album is commercialized as far as beats go. Don't get me wrong though, the lyrics are tight, typical Wu style. The two people that make this album good, Method Man and Inspectah Deck. A suprise in this album is the improvement of the not-so-good Cappadonna. Ghostface is Ghostface, bringing the random, yet hot verses to this cut. U-God & Raekwon have seemed to decline lyrically over the past few years, but still do a decent job on the Iron Flag.
RZA & GZA both remain solid, and RZA has even improved lyrically. RZA's best work is still on Wu-Tang Forever. Masta Killa isn't on the album that often, which really isn't a good thing because he could have displayed his improvement. (For an example of this, check out Mortal Kombat by Afu-ra.) Below is the track rating (1-5):

In The Hood: 5
Rules: 5+
Chrome Wheels: 3
Soul Power: 1 ( The beat is so annoying)
Uzi: 4
One Of These Days: 3.5
Y'all Been Warned: 5
Babies: 3
Radioactive: 3.5
Back In The Game: 4.5
Iron Flag: 4
Dashing: 4.5
