Free Music Notes for Wu Tang Iron FlagFree Music Review: Wu Tang Iron Flag Hit: 3 StarsEven in an increasingly crowded hip-hop landscape, an album by the full Wu-Tang Clan will always be an event. Mostly that's due to the continuing influence of the Long Island collective's landmark '93 debut, Enter The Wu-Tang; an outing so strong that even casual fans still hope its success can be repeated. Unsurprisingly, Iron Flag doesn't recapture that claustrophobic brilliance--but it's still better than either of the follow-ups, 1997's Wu-Tang Forever and last year's W.While the RZA's production hardly touches on the disorienting murk of yesteryear, the bright horn samples and upfront beats of new tracks like "One Of These Days" and the outstanding "Uzi (Pinky Ring)" are a surprisingly good substitute. The missing ingredient throughout, of course, is jailed Clan member Ol' Dirty Bastard, whose erratic charisma is sorely missed (and poorly replaced by his spiritual godfather, Flavor Flav, on "Soul Power"). Still, having a trio of MCs as powerful as Method Man, Raekwon, and Ghostface Killah insures the rhymes will stay interesting, with the typically grungy crime story "Babies" and the neo-patriotic "Rules" the best examples.
Free Music Review: "Lets have a toast to Mr. Tay and the Iron Flag Brothers!" Hit: 4 StarsThis album is rockin! My top 3 songs are:Rules: A brilliant opening with scratches in all the right places. Back in the Game: Another great opening to the first verse and strong throughout, and I've got a thing for Pianos! Iron Flag: Great Vocal tune and the strings in the background kick ... Good scratchin at the end. There's also 'Uzi' and 'Radioactive' which have great beats. There are a few bad tracks though. 'Babies' isn't that great and I can name a few more. After 10 years Wu-Tang still have it, if you're a fan it's a must, if you're not, then it's a good maybe.

Free Music Review: GOOD THING WE BROUGHT THA GLOCK!! Hit: 4 StarsWhen I first heard it I wasnt impressed but on a few listens of this cd I realised what a quality piece of work it is. RZA production is tight as always and beats are bangin. WU has not fallen off, its only because people are stuck on the stage they were on in the past and refuse to see how much they have grown as individuals and as a group. The only thing I dont like about this CD is the occasional use of some R&B hooks in the song and the use of too much trumpets and other brass instruments but beside that its tight!
Free Music Review: Wu Tang gets better and stronger all the time Hit: 5 StarsThe Wu Tang Clan consistently manufacture brilliant rap melodies and beats. No other group compares to their calibre of pure hard rap music. The kind of pulsating thumping rhythms and gritty mind-blowing lyrics that's guaranteed to get the nerves jingling every time. A Wu Tang album is an automatic buy for me. No matter if it's an oldie or a new release. What can I say? They are the best. Iron Flag is another classic to add to my treasured collection. I loved every single track, definitely no fillers here.RECOMMEND RECOMMEND RECOMMEND.
