Noone envelopes and ties together so many musicians and genres, to create a successful overall album quite like wyclef jean. My doubts before buying this album were quelled when i played it for the third time. I saw the overwhelming list of quest appearances and it made me question whether the album would be worth it. Wyclef brings all these guests in, but the overall sound is distintly his. with exception of Shakira (of which he could have done without) all the guests appearances are background. the flow of this album is smooth and tie together diferent styles of music to become distinctly wyclef.
My favorites..... "Fast Car" and "Hollywood Meets Bollywood" Both Paul Simon and Chamillionaire vocals are very harmonic. That is part of the genius of Wyclef.
And guess what their is no need for a clean version of this CD because wyclef doesnt feel the need to make his points using explicit language.
