Free Music Notes for The Preacher's Son

Free Music Review: more like 10 stars
Hit: 5 Stars

I'm not really a fan of reggae/rap/R&B.Rock collabs but this cd's off the chain. Wyclef is crazy on this album. With guest appearences like Cassidy, Missy Elliot, Redman, Prodigy, Scarface, and Rah Digga Wyclef brings this album to life. Go cop this!!

Free Music Review: Positive thought for the soul
Hit: 5 Stars

Wyclef's talent and world citizenship shines through on this cd. He is able to combine music from various cultures in the diaspora and pull it together with the common threads of rhythm and soul. Whether you're into hip hop, R&B, reggae, soca or Indian music, he covers it all while providing positive and thought provoking lyrics. Something great for everyone.

Free Music Review: GREAT ALBUM FROM THE PREACHERS SON
Hit: 5 Stars

The preachers son by the underrated Wyclef is one of his best albums to date, it shows how his musical ability has improved over the years. Wyclefs ability to create music with everyone from Whitney Houston to Carlos Santana is reflected on this album with musical styles from R&B to Regaee. There are tracks for everyone on this album. If you`re into Rap you would favour the track 'Party to Damascus with Missy Elliot were Missy raps over a fantastic guitar riff and sings the chorous, with clef singing the verses , in the remix Clef raps the verses. Other raps come from Redman on 'Baby Daddy' Cassidy on 'Celebrate' Scarface & Rah Digga on 'Next Generation' and Prodigy of Mobb Deep on 'Rebel Music'. 'Industry' has Clef rap 'black on black crime needs to stop you can'nt blame it on hip hop' as he reflects on the negativity in the industry. R&B comes from 'Class Reunion' feat Monica and 'Take me as I am' feat Sharissa and 'Linda'feat Carl Restivo. 'Baby' is a soul song with a Marvin Gaye style sound. Patti La Belle sings and Cassidy raps on 'Celebrate'. For the regaee fans there is 'I am your doctor' feat Wayne Wonder & Elephant Man, 'Who gave the order' feat Buju Banton and 'Party by the sea' feat Buju Banton & T-Vice.
Overall, I feel that this is one of the best albums of the year and although it was released too late to get nominated for a grammy in February it should be nominated the following year.
Wyclef fan or not you need to get this album.

Free Music Review: Wyclef Does It Again
Hit: 5 Stars

Wyclef has grown into such a great artist. All of his songs from the first time I heard "Nappy Heads" I knew he would be great. I also have a lot of respect for him in the way he handled those kids on "Making the Band." I know he wants a good product. That is what we got on "The Preacher's Son" A great album. From begining to the end it is a soild effort. Some of my favorite songs include "Linda","Take Me As I Am" and "Grateful". I have never hear song that says he is greatful for the things he has not other bullsh*t he does not have.
Wyclef this is a wonderful album worthy of any awards and nomiations. Simply Wonderful!!!

Free Music Review: One of the best albums of the year
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD is up there with some of my hiphop favorites. Wyclef, K-OS, MIssy Elliott. This CD is high quality. "Who gave the order", "Celebrate"! Awesome tracks. None of that crap gansta rap, this stuff is real. ANd you don't have to brainwash yourself into liking it. No regrets when you get this album. Wycelf has my respect.
