Free Music Review: The Great Wynonna
Hit: 5 Stars

Wynonna pulled it off again, a number 1 cd. She only gets
better. As she ages and matures her voice only matures and becomes more beautiful. Fives stars for Wyonna the Great.

Free Music Review: Just As Powerful As Her First CD
Hit: 5 Stars

This is Wynonna's 2nd CD and it is just as powerful as her first. "Tell Me Why" was the first single and a top 10 single. It is a fast song and will keep you moving your feet and wanting to dance to it. "Rock Bottom" was another top 10 song for Wynonna and has a rock-a-billy sound to it. "Only Love" my favorite song on the CD is about how love can conquer all. "Girls With Guitars" is a different kind of song that has a guitar lyric in it that sounds like a song by Cream called Sunshine Of Your Love. Mary Chapin Carpenter wrote the song. "Is It Over Yet" is a sad song about a love gone bad and she needs it to be done with so she can move on with her life. There are 2 religious songs on this CD. One is called "Father Sun" and the other is "Let's Make A Baby King" which could be a Christmas Song. This CD is a very powerful one and would be an asset to anyone's collection.

Free Music Review: She does it again!
Hit: 5 Stars

Though her second CD as a solo artist has a more varied selection of song(they arent all "country") it is nonetheless a superb album.
Tell Me Why,Only Love,Is It Over Yet,Rock Bottom, and Girls With Guitars were the singles released and went to number 2,1,4,2,7 respectively.

My favorites besides the singles would have to be I Just Drove by, Father Sun, and That was Yesterday.
And as with her first solo album, Naomi provides her extraordinary talent on Girls with Guitars by singing(along with Vince Gill) and by writing That was Yesterday.

I just drove by would have to be my favorite all time songs by Wynonna(solo). You would really have to know Wynonna's whole history, her rags-to-riches story, to really be able to understand this song. It really is beautiful.

As with her first album, I highly recommend anyone who is a fan of music to pick this up!

Free Music Review: Great album
Hit: 5 Stars

Wynonna's Tell Me Why album is a great follow up to her first solo album (Wynonna). The songs are a great mix of country and pop, with a bit of jazz and blues thrown in. If you listen carefully, you can hear Naomi's harmony on "Girls with Guitars."

Though several of the songs, such as "Tell Me Why" and "Only Love," are more of the traditional Judd-style sound, Wy expands her musical style with more hard-hitting numbers like "Rock Bottom" and "That was Yesterday." The album also has a taste of religious themes (Let's Make a Baby King and Father Sun).

If you enjoyed any of the Judds music or Wy's first album, you'll like this album too. I recommend it!
