Free Music Review: second album from Xzibit - maybe his best (4.5 stars)

Xzibit returns two years after his debut (which is the only Xzibit album I haven't heard) and this may be my favorite X to the Z album (a toss up with his 2000 release "Restless"). He was just a lot more hungry back in the days. 6 of the 13 songs have guests on them, and the guests are well known (mostly) and they are good. The production is handled by many different people, and it is also good. There are no tracks that I skip, one classic, 7 or 8 good songs, and about 4 that are o.k. A must have album for all rap fans.

Free Music Review: Best rap album I've ever heard!!

I picked up a used copy of this CD from my local CD store for 8 bucks. I was expecting it to be good, but I got way more then I expected. This CD is by far, the best rap album I've ever heard, beating out competion from 2Pac (Better Dayz) Eminem, 50, Obie, D12, G-Unit, Dilated Peoples, Danger Mouse, and more. It's amazing!! THere are four songs on this album that would've become instant hits, had they been released on a more commercial rappers album. They are Handle Your Buisness (My new favorite rap song) Focus, Deeper, and Recycled Assasins. If they'd been released on a more commercial rapper's album, like Eminem, 2Pac, or 50 Cent, they would become legendary rap songs!! This is definitly a CD that no one who enjoys rap should pass up!! The only thing is, if you get the clean version, there'll be a lot of blank spots.
This album is so good, that today my friend, who had listened to my copy of this, and was listening to my copy of The Marshall Mathers LP, listened to a few songs on the MMLP, and he's like "Screw Eminem, lemme listen to that Xzibit again."

unlike most xzibit fans who like his earlier album "at the speed of life" i have to say this album is pure genius. This album was also made before x became dr dres bitch. The beats on this album are at a seperate level than any garbage you will here today. Besides the beats the lyrics are pure fire on tracks like "3 Card Molly", "What you see is what you get", "Handle your Business", and "Let it Rain". The CD has some great guests on it like Ras Kass, Saafir, J-Ro, Tash, King T, Method Man, and Jayo Felony. I recomend this for any one who is a fan of rap and a fan of music, or some one who loves music from the streets. i got the cd a couple of weaks ago n i was excited to get it cuz it was the last cd i needed to have all the xzibit cds. the first 6 songs r bangin (STRAIGHT FIRE, especially CHAMBER MUSIC) but then the songs get wack till track # 12, 13 is ok n then 16. the lyrics r good its just that i wasnt feelin the beatz. but u should still go out n cop the cd.Free Music Review: PURE RAW HIP HOP CLASSIC

Those Beat is really Great and Raw!
"3 Card Molly", "What U See is What U Get", "Handle Your Bussiness", "Recycled Assassins" and "Deeper" are The Best Track on this album!

and all other song is Great too!
A Must Have for someone who searchin' for a REAL RAP ALBUM!
