This Xzibit cd is not bad but it isn't exactly what I expected from the third Xzibit album! I first heard Xzibit on Snoop dogg's "Top Dogg", then on Eminem's "Marshall Mathers LP" and then on Dre's "Chronic 2001" and I really liked his style and all that! So I decided to buy one of his albums and I heard 'bout this one so I decided to pick it up! When I heard it the first time I was very pleased because it has songs on it produced by Dre like "alcoholic" and "Best of things", those are them typical "Dre" beats and I loved those 2 songs and also the rest of the album exept for "Double Time" and "Rimz & Tirez" so I tought it was a very good album but after I heard the album for about 5 times it got SO boring! Now, I own this cd for about 4 months and I haven't been listening to it for about 3 months, the cd really gets bored off quikly! Now there is actually just one song I still like to listen to and that is "D.N.A.", I like the beat and it has a pretty good Xzibit on it + Snoop dogg has done a pretty good job on this one to... BUT if you like Dre and EVERYTHING he produces you will probably love this album but if you're expecting something like Xzibit's "At the speed of life" don't buy this unless you're a real fan...Free Music Review: X TO THE Z

mista x to the z drops his best album right here. his other albums dont compare to this one! he has great tracks like alkaholic, d-n-a, dont approach me, ... u right, and all the rest are good. the reason i gave the album 4 stars is because i got sick of it after a month.Free Music Review: tight

X, what happened? Why did you allow Dre to produce your album? Forget about Dre, X! So... after my introduction I will describe why is that question in my title. After copping the album I became disappointed. "Xzibit lost his abilities?" - I asked myself. "X, gonn be mainstream?" - I screamed.My answer is: "Maybe... (but I don't wanna see it)"
Tracks like the Battlecat produced 'Been a long time' is sloppy. For real, that song has a good lyrics but the beats are sloppy. I don't liked 'Rimz & tirez' and that Suga Free-DJ Quik garbage. Them tracks is soooo boooooring.
The good songs is the Rockwilder produced 'Front 2 back', the E-Dub hyped 'Double time', 'X' and 'the Eminem featured 'Don't approach me'.
I don't know why he collaborated with Dre... it be a mystery for me... forever.
So, to rate this album: it's a 3.5-star release but it's NOT a 4-star joint, that's why I gave 3-stars.
X could do better: TOLD!
