I own about 10 Yanni CD's/cassettes; I've appreciated his music for years. I was worried about purchasing Ethnicity because I generally prefer just the music. BOY AM I GLAD I GAVE THIS CD A TRY! Ethnicity is thrilling. It's got a blend of Native American, African, Irish, and Asian sounds that mix powerfully with the instrumental pieces. Most of the tracks don't include "words"--they're rhythmic vocal arias. Unique.Be prepared to close your eyes, to smile, and to maybe take a twirl about your living room!

This album is phenomenal. I love Yanni's music and this album is definitely a big winner. Yanni's music proves that language is not a barrier when you are a music lover like I am. I just went to Yanni's concert in Las Vegas and he does not come around very often so if you have the opportunity to go see him in person, I recommend the show - it's a big treat! I'm going to his concert again in Hollywood in May - that's how much I love Yanni's music. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ALBUM AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIS CONCERT.Free Music Review: 5 Stars
I didn't even realize I had this cd in my collection until I just ordered it yesterday. I was looking through my cd and happen to see it and was shocked, oh well now i'm going to have to send the other one back that I ordered.But wow, omg this is a great cd, I love the voices, the music, the arrangements. Sure it's different for Yanni but my gawd it's a good different. I honestly don't remeber buying this cd but I'm so, so happy I did, what a nice surprise.
I would highly recommend this cd.

Yanni is back!!! And so is his fire and passion!!!!! The music on this cd is on fire!!! You can feel the energy rush through your whole body!! Those of you who don't like this cd and are complaining about so much singing and not enough instrumentals should listen to John Tesh . I am very pleased with this cd!! If you want instrumentals get an instrumental cd. I clearly feel yanni is the Phoenix rising from the flames way beyond the fire!!!Free Music Review: Wow!

This new release by Yanni is a masterpiece.....the vocals used are perfect and take you into another world....almost every song has vocals which is different from a lot of his earlier work....this album is very cohesive and each track molds and flows easily into the next.....it uses a lot of world sounds....celtic....new age and is a tour de force of an album! This cd is for anyone and everyone who loves easy listening!
